These cars look good in any color imo with the blacked out details. This one is no exception.

It`s perfect! If i could order one of these back in the days it would look just like that. Great job. -
Thanks. I do consider changing the wheels.

Got this today. It`s not painted and the chrome is very nice, not even glue on the windsheild. It does however have a damage to the front fender, but it`s easy fix with superglue. Also it is missing one rear tailight. This was intended for the 63 Holiday convertion but i think it`s so nice i might keep it as Starfire convertible.

Thanks for the kind comments. The instruments are indeed decals. Here is where i got them: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-18-1-20-1-24-60-70-DASH-GAUGE-DECAL-for-TAMIYA-AOSHIMA-MINICHAMPS-PMA-FUJIMI-/231112795166?pt=Model_Kit_US&hash=item35cf65641e

Thanks. Yes i agree on the engine color,it was first painted intended to be put on the stand who follow the kit,not in the car since i had in mind aftermarked engine. Black or bodycolor could be very nice yes. Also thought about have the parts who usually are plated flat black, but i might not go there. Thanks Carl.

Just testing stance and how i would want it. There are some issues wiht the Polara i i`m building,i was putting on the final touch with BMF,and when i removed some of the BMF entire chunks of paint came off. Extremely annoying when i was so close to finish it. So it`s now being stripped, and i have been fondling whith this one and finished the Impala.

Hi. Here is my build for the Cannonball Run. AMT gluebomb bought out of Ebay. I just imagine the Impala to be a very comfy car to travel long distance in. Of course i had to try make it pack some punch for when it will overtake the others lol. The recipe is simple,fullsize,bench/sofa,big block with an huge turbo, manual, fuel injection for "fuel economy". As for looks it`s pretty bland, and it got a little taller on the rear then i had planned, but i just stuck with it. Here are some pictures. Thanks for looking and comments are welcome.

Serious modeler envy

Started out around a year ago and are still on the kitchen table. Have yet to go onto the airbrush, only reason i want to try is to get better finish on small part where the brush is usually used. I`m impressed by the stash, tools and space many have to work with, but i have to start out somewhere, also still having fun with the little i have, and it`s said to be the most important. -
Slotcar or resin maby.

Dash is done, put a rollbar in it and some gauges i found on ebay, called 60/70s race gauges. It`s pretty much done and will be under glass tomorrow if i can get some decent pictures. Last pic is childish but i thought it look cool lol Nice progress guys.

Been googling a little and it does indeed look off on comparison with one 1:25 diecast. Well, then no 69 Mustang for me. Any other Fastback kits you guys would recomend then? 65-66-67 and maby 68? I have one 68 AMT but it`s more like an restoration object from i was a kid. Modern Mustangs are not interesting for me,only as donors lol (No pun intended)
