now this buy is as exciting as watching grass grow but it's model related ,, bought some wood to build a paint rack. I have to work today so I will build it tomorrow after I get back from my accountant and it will depend on how depressed I am after that trip , and , OMG I just remembered today is my birthday, now I am depressed ,,, 60 years old , please tell me how this happened,, it was no more than 5 years ago I was 22

I am curious about how much research you all do on an auto before you start your builds,, like do you research every part as much as you can and then have Huge ideas of how crazy detailed you want to get and then come back to earth and use artistic freedom ,,, like today while at work I was thinking about this 67 vette dashboard and in my mind I knew what I wanted to do then I get home and look at it again and remember how tiny it really is, like I don't think I will get the radio to play lol

In 1978 I had sold my T-Bird for a Mk11 , I liked it because to me it was like a 4 seater T-Bird but the zero to 60 in 13 seconds stunk ,,, Bill how much would it cost to have someone make a 1/25 scale resin kit of this auto ???

well I only have been doing this since March 3 2013 , and I only have a 40 ford semi built , and I am afraid to add up what I have spent so far , on Tuesday I am getting a mini metal lathe and on the way home I may stop at the shrink for a head check and 2 weeks after that I am getting a mini milling machine and I am positive I am stopping by the shrink after that cause I gotta be CRAZY ,, Now my first complete build will be either the 62 or 67 Corvette ( most likely the 67) and that first complete build I figure around 3 grand assuming I just do that one and drop the hobby

wow this is to cool , but there is one thing missing from that Carney Wagon , towels and underwear on the floor ,, we know how you guys are with that stuff

Skip , that is a Great Idea and now it got me thinking of the best way to do this with little work ,,, drill holes like you said and slot them a little , mount the trim on scotch tape so the trim is all lined up nice and neat ,, then tape it to the door panel ,, now that the holes are slotted I would use epoxy , it wont run past the trim and onto the paint , Skip , Great great tip/idea , Thanks !!!!

did they ever make a Lincoln MK2 , I am thinking maybe no , I can't find one ,, but found a die cast one ,, well if they didn't make one they sure should , I owned this car many years ago , loved it

Chuck ,, well I am thinking on this corvette interior , IMO a gloss red for seats and door panel is way to shiny , now I am thinking semi gloss red for the dash , and flat red for seats and panels , or maybe even semi gloss for the seats ,,, but I can not find red semi gloss ,,, ugggggggg , how do I make red semi gloss then

a female's point of view ,,, first off ,, all my female friends think I am totally wacked ,, when we go out shopping I would say things like ," yeah those manolo blahniks are nice but I am going to Guitar Center , meet you for lunch in 2 hours" , anyway , a long time ago I realized you guys had all the cool toys and had all the cool fun stuff and I wanted in and the heck with what everyone says

this build is crazy , a good crazy , out of this world crazy , what I want to know is how did you train a tiny monkey to do this build , because a guys hands are way to big for such small work ,, you are like the Eric Clapton , George Harrison of model building ,,, you need a title , like CMMB ,,,,, Certified Master Model Builder , just darn amazing
