seems to me that paint aint cheap and if I was going to test out some paint I would do it on a cheap model car from Wal-Mart or something

I saw this auto in a build thread put I can't find it , my Q about this kit is the body , one piece body , no opening hood , is that how it is , a little confused about that

got a few things today , a Stinkin Lincoln , a Firebird , a T-Bird , a Cobra , a GT6 . and a Corvette , and some paasche bottles and glue and some styrene , dats it for today

thanks guys . ok I did a repaint . actually came out better this time

I had to strip the paint on this dash , my question is this clean enough , I used drano and soft scrub and then washed it with dawn , or will the remaining paint be an issue ?

I am not feeling this , total garbage , going back to a fresh dashboard , but I did learn a ton on this

not sure if I made a mistake , I used semi gloss black with a touch of flat black to tone it down , maybe I should have gone flat black ,, I have a spare dash , I may do this all over again

Actually he needs to build two interiors , one to use in the car and one along side the car , I am still blown away

How did you take a real car interior and make it look like it's a model , cause Holy Cow that is unreal

that's pretty cool ,,,,,, but if anyone is thinking of a Harbor Freight mini lathe , for the money there great , with a little time doing a good set up , I took off all the silly safety junk , took apart the carriage and lapped the ways , I didn't have lapping compound , used toothpaste and it worked great , , thinking maybe tomorrow I may paint it , I can't stand the red

today I got 6 shades of red from Kens Fuzzi Fur , a 68 Firebird ,, some lumber , 2 dial indicators , oh and a mini metal lathe , and assorted tools that I had to order , they didn't have them in the store , I should make the table for the lathe today but it seems I ran out of steam
