Hi all I decided to step up one notch on my models. I was surprised to see that Wal-mart stores started carrying the models once again so now I can send my wife to the store and to pick one or two models, so far this is the only semi model that they have. so I may end up doing what most of people are doing from the styrene types of models. So I'm trying to do something different with the adhesion promoter instead waiting 2-3 minutes I waited 3-5 minutes between each coat then do the ab the model.

Hi all well I went and got the adhesion promoter and I followed the directions on the can to the letter. But when I went to do the finial gluing up on the cab and interior and I was using the latex gloves so that I didn't leave any oily spots or anything but the paint came off and now I have to start all over again. The paints I was using is the wicked but now I'm thinking about trying this trident paints . Any and all helpful info would be most grateful and a Big Thanks In Advance.

Hi all sorry I haven't been in awhile my in laws was in a really bad auto accident and for a while we wasn't sure if they would pull through. But now they are better. But here is what I have been working on even though the box show blue , but I went with iridescent Turquoise. I'm kind of burnt out of blue for now. But it's still on the work bench to add more layers of paint to it.

Resin Casting for your own good?
Blackwolf replied to DailyGrindCustoms's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Hi I have one question if you don't mind. But where can you get this resin and the casting for the models that you are wanting to do? But thanks in advance. -
Ok here is the second model that is on the bench it's a 97 ford but this one is going to be done different I've done wash all the parts and I'd use latex gloves so that he oil from mine hands won't cause a problem plus when I get ready for certain parts then I'll use the adhesion promoter since its warming up outside now I'll be able to use my paint booth instead the sink in ole johnny crapper lol.

This one I've been working on and its taken me longer than normal had to redo paints and other items but like i'd said once before I hadn't done any models in long time
-
Lookin' great I like it alot
-
If I didn't see it with my own eyes I wouldn't have believed it. May be I'd should have done that with my datsun 310 gx. can't wait til its finished
