  1. Shoot, I like them both! I have to give the edge to the restored one. That is a very clean build. The panel lines look great as does the engine bay. Nice job!
  2. Thanks again for the comments guys. Mauricio, I double checked the RoG box and it says it is a 956C. I checked the internet and found that the 962 replaced the 956. To my eye they look very close to each other. Is there something on the model that makes it look like a 962? I am not too familiar with these cars and couldn't tell the difference, even if you ran me over with one....
  3. Nicely done Derek!! This is one of the cars / liveries that you either love or hate. With the outstanding job you did it is hard not to love it!
  4. Thanks for the comments guys, I appreciate them . Curtis, I honestly don't remember if I added those or not. I looked at the model in its case and it sure looks like they were added but I just don't remember.....getting old I guess .
  5. Very, very nice Ken.
  6. Nice job on both of them!
  7. This is another older build. This was built from the RoG 1:24 kit. This was my selection for a 24 hour build. I did get the kit finished in 24 hours however I did touch up a few things afterwards. It was a fairly simple kit and I had very few problems with it. I hope you like it!
  8. This looks good in that green. Like Dave said, you don't see that too much. Good looking model.
  9. It just gets better and better!
  10. I'm a little late to the party but I hope this helps. I am having some of the same issues and I went to the "help" section, (located on the top, right). Although they didn't have exact instructions on how to fix the problems I was able to see that I was not the only one having the problems and that they were aware of it, etc. It might be worth looking over the various topics and you might find that they know about your exact problem. One of the issues was loading pics into a particular album.
  11. I have always liked this car. I think it is gorgeous. You don't see this model very often. It looks like you have done a great job on this. The paint and decals look like they both laid down s-m-o-o-t-h .

That is some amazingly clean building, especially considering it is 1:43 scale. Very nice.
  13. Another build thread I'll have to follow!
  14. You are doing a GREAT job on this so far! It is really looking good.
  15. Tommy, you know from TMM that I am a life long member of the "roadhawg fan club" . It is because of builds like this. You have talent my friend. Thanks for sharing!
  16. Hey Juan, WIP is work-in-progress. I have both of the kits you are talking about and will someday get to them. I really like the C9s. Good luck on your build!
  17. I'll be watching this one Juan. Are you going to be posting WIP pictures? I hope so.
  18. That is one beautiful truck. What a clean build!
  19. Thanks for the comments! Yes RatRod, this is the Tamiya kit. Here is a link, (I hope), there are a few in-progress pics. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=72705
  20. Thank you guys, I appreciate the comments.
  21. This one was finished up a few years ago. I have always thought that this is one of the prettiest paint schemes out there. I liked the challenge that the decals posed. The kit went together well and the decals behaved quite nicely. Hope you like it.
  22. Gorgeous!
  23. Last post before I put up pics of the finished model in the "under glass" section. This post will show some of the body work. This was the first time I used Silly Putty for masking. It worked very well. Put it on the outside to keep the black on the inside. Fixing ejector pin marks. Time to start laying down some decals.
  24. I should have mentioned that this is a box stock build. Here is the completed seat and dash. Moving on to the main tub and interior. I think one of my least favorite things to do is masking. I had to do some here. Here is the drivetrain. And starting to put it all together.
