Wayne, I am from Garrison. It is located between Minot and Bismarck. Garrison sits right on Lake Sakakawea. Really not a bad place to grow up, but as I like to joke, not a bad place to be from....

I just wanted to take a minute and say hello to the board members. My name is John and I have a fairly typical story. I am originally from North Dakota and building models was a great way to pass the 360 days of winter each year....lol. I grew out of models in my teens but rediscovered this great hobby in my thirties when I was settled in WV. I have amassed a collection that I will never come close to building all of. This is the only hobby that I really focus on and it seems to keep me out of trouble. I will try to share my past builds with you as well as current and future builds. Thank you for allowing to play in your play-pen and I look forward to becoming part of the group!
