  5. Except for that lump under the hood , that is one awesome looking car!!
  6. Not bad at all. There was a mold mark on either side of the body, but very little flash. Some say the chassis isn't accurate for the GNX, but it makes a very decent looking model.
  7. looks great
  8. Some fantastic builds, thanks for posting.
  9. There are some cars you tend to see more women driving. VW Cabriolet. 2nd generation Ford Probe/MX6. I think back in the day the 240SX was considered a secretary's car.
  10. A few more things have shown up from eBay. The best of which is Tamiya's Aston Martin DBS. Was watching a rerun of Top Gear and James may was driving a baby blue one...Hmmm. Also got a Greenwood Corvette, 68 Charger and a bunch of resin wheels.

  21. That's cool!
  22. I will agree that most of the people who do models like muscle cars, lead sleds, or 50's-60's cruisers. I drive a lowered Civic daily. I have a CRX prepped for high performance drivers ed and I'm in my late 40's. Do I fall in the punk kids category? I do like me some muscle cars, mainly Mustangs, but almost any nice one will do. My model interests sort of run the gamut, but lean towards European and Japanese cars, muscle cars and a few early 60's sedans. I do think the may be a bit of the good 'ol boy's club exclusion going on in the model car shows. But as others have said, build what interests you and enjoy the ride.
