  1. Nice job! I want to build one with a quad 4 engine. Very cool insperation.
  2. Anybody seen a puke yellow coupe around???
  3. WOW!!!!!! Looks Great. Ran a couple of 70 montes at enduro races. Love the body style. Fantastic job on the paint.
  4. There is one of these on a trailer in town, I've always liked the lines on these cars. One problem I would see is I am 6'7 and 280 lbs. Big guy in a little car. But I do have another daughter heading towards her 14th Birthday and she is gonna be on the shorter side. A turbo V-6 would work quite nicely.
  5. I liked the movie, one of those 2:00 on a Saturday movies. Looking forward to seeing the finnished product. I have seen a diecast of the movie turbo-interceptor at Michaels. Good deal with the 40% off coupon.
  6. Lookin good , It's amazing how colorful the Cars were back then but most pictures are in black & white.
  7. Looks like it should be at a track, Very nice build up.
  8. Very Kool builds, would look great on a racetrack dio.
  9. Nice job Big Brother, Tell her it's an iou till you win the lottery and can get her the real thing. Nice finished product!!!!
  10. Very nice build of DW"s older rides, The tires sticking out were from when rubbin was racin
  11. Nice build. I realy like the older nascar builds.
  12. Looks AWSOME!!! , very good build up of one of the "Iceman's " last good ride's. I'll trade you your 30 mph winds for our 60 mph winds and throw in 0 vizability, My wife said her lil 12 pound dog was peeing this am while being blown across the ice on our patio. LOL wish I had video to post.
  13. That is just AWSOME!!! It only took 8 months, that would be my one in a life time type of build. That is just 1 incredible build!

Nice build Jimmy, car looks great in the 2-tone. If my muddled memory serves me,these were also around the time you could build a racecar through Direct connection, aka the Dodge parts guys. I wonder if a dealer still has some of those big 43 decals stashed away somewhere?
  15. Very nice build up, looks ready to hop in and tool around.
  16. Good start on your shop, please keep updating as you can.
  17. Thanks guys,Jim that is exactly what i'm hopin to get mine to look like. my Uncle used to use a hauler very simular in the midwest to haul his stocker to the local tracks and a couple of road trips also. I sure miss seeing those beast running down the road , car straped down and being able to see it. thanks diymirage and Jim for your help. Rick
  18. I would like to open up the tool compartment doors on an old petty race hauler i've been holding onto for all these years. the car carrier portion is built, but i would like to open the large doors under the tire carrier area and also the side doors down by the wheel area. what is the best/more realistic thing to use or build? I'm going to stretch out the Lindberg L-700 kit to place this on. I sure miss the days of open trailers and car haulers, I was heading home a few fridays ago and saw a friend pulling his dirt modified to the local track, just his pick up pulling an open trailer, I gawked like a 10 yr old till the light turned. Thanks for such a great forum Gregg!
  19. Is the other guy in the pic flashing gang sighns? I have the 6 firebird also, first time dealing with resin, with the great shape the parts came in it sure won't be my last purchase from Jimmy.
  20. WOW what a time machine that is. Great build. I had an uncle racing in that time frame and remeber all the big timers like Senneker, Trickle , Joe Shear, all running at the Minnesota state fairgrounds. They used to race 4 days and then Labor day was the big race, now the tracks a memory , but your build sure brings back some good memorys from my younger years.
  21. Very nice build, can just about hear the rumble from the duals, the hub caps add a certain sleeper element to the whole look, paint is great looking! I miss my 77 Blackbird just looking at this one.
  22. Turning won't be the problem. the thing would probly go into hover mode at idle. Great build. Reminds me of Randy Quaids mower in the movie MOVING, staring Richard Prior and Quaid as the lunatic guy next door with the blown 350 reel mower and a 15 inch strip of lawn to mow.
  23. IS THAT THE JIMMY FLINTSTONE RESIN BODY? i BOUGHT ONE TO , BUT AM STUCK TRYING TO PUT A 98 F-BIRD DASH IN PLACE OF THE CAMARO UNIT.
  24. Your build is INCREDIBLE!!!! I am not ashamed that i to thought it was the real thing at first.
