  5. I always paint the body after I get a rolling chassis, I KNOW is going to fit under everything. Including interior, glass,tires and wheels of choice etc., There is nothing more aggravating to me than getting to final, and having to pull out the dremel on a polished body! Even without body mods I test fit, test fit, test fit. As far as window trim,...after paint and polish,... I will use a sharpie for black or BMF
  6. Thank you everyone for the comments....it keeps me going for sure! Jamie,... I use a digital camera Canon Power Shot Pro 1, Set on P and Macro, Using a tripod (a must). I light it with a double halogen construction light,.. pointed at the white ceiling above my work bench, and my fluorescent magnifier light for under lighting. And the background of a blown up sunset shot of Lakeside Park. (Yep, The Lakeside Park Rush sings of). You need to shoot fairly close to the model 10" - 12" away. And Tim (seeker 589) Here... have at 'er Cheers

  9. Nice Trans Am came out great! I started playing around with backgrounds in my photos,.. sometimes they are too distracting,.... I like the winter scene,.. but your car is on the ice!! I'm trying a white Flat (no shine) base and backdrop now Camera set on Macro, lots of light, tripod (a must), and shooting very close to the model. Great builds here and good luck Cheers

  15. A little more ... Installed all new window trim and roof transitions... .040" Evergreen 1/2 round Bit more sanding and then back into primer... I picked up an airbrush (Paasche VL-set) some time ago and have decided to really dive into it this week (off) Not liking the rattle can's monstrous amounts of coverage anymore... Cheers

  18. Hey Dan From where you get that diamond plate on bed rails? Leafs look great (No not Toronto) I've always owned 8' Bed trucks (8' drywall,8' 2"X4"s) Shortbeds are for beach cruzers Looks great so far Cheers
