Lookin' good Whahappen? to the reg. cab.? I did that mod. it's fairly straight forward.......... don't look at the paint UGH Happy building -
Revells 49 Merc Custom Added more mud (about a half tube) lol...of squadron white sand sand sand fill fill fill...... Pancacked the trunk,added another bumper under rear and filled...frenched the running lights and headlights (even more!)Grille and bullets from a much older kit, nothing glued yet it does sit straight. Raked the door frame forward, Front bumper undermounted and filled, Added small hood scoop to that Hockey rink sized bonnet!! First shot of primer to bring out all the spots where more filler needed Still thinkin' on those tailights!?! Comments and criticisms welcomed and needed Thnx for lookin' Oh ya,.... then THIS squirrel walked by Revell Bill Elliott Intrepid Frame trimmed 1/4" off sides and back and fits Perfect Hmmmmm??! I don't know,... customizing a perfectly good custom?LMAO

Ok....... 3rd times the charm..... Right!!?? Just out of Prestone brake fluid(again)after 20 mins.,....roomates toothbrush came in handy WASHED in 99% Isopropal alcohol Washed in warm water and Dawn dish soap Air dried Sanded the "ghosts" again. Rubbed a pencil over the area and they were still there ....so... think I got 'em this time Touched up where the alcohol remove filler ...sand/filler/sand Shot with primer Do not touch for 3 days See ya then then (feels like "Groundhog Day")

This is the one that got me hooked last May after 25 yrs. away Revell '99 silverado extended cab my son gave me for xmas 4-5 yrs. ago Very close to my own truck cut up the cab to make it reg. I know , I'm still looking for a way to make that grille Close to my old work truck 30 yrs ago 55 Cameo Nascar front end frame and engine First commission for a friend Picked it up xmas eve and I didnt get a chance to take any more pics It's amazing the skills you can learn here.....didnt bother polishing those first two Might need frame off resto's Happy building!!
