  2. I got some wires and rods and files and tools and styrene and.... Kid in a candy store ...at Micheals and Niagara Central Hobbies (my local) Oh well I paid the same amount for my last 10 models
  3. Looking good Like the color contrast I'd like to see better pics too. Can you set the camera on something ...tripod, book, stool? It'll come out clearer....Just sayin' Happy glue sniffin!

  8. sorry I didnt catch you sooner It takes about a week and a half before you can touch it and even then no presuure on the model or a fingerprint will develop
  9. I tried these paints they are very heavy (quantity of paint) and take forever!!! to dry

  12. The "problem" is that we all need to keep our hands busy for that period of modeling time we have Therefore and I think, and the Dr. will confirm GET AS MANY DONE/STARTED/FINISHED AS YOU CAN!!!!

  16. Ok .... She's out of body and paint and ready for try #2 Gonna let 'er dry out for a couple of days then panel lines and clear Just as an aside,.. I have been looking over older post regarding this Revell model and have found alot of comments regarding "slab sided, thick castings, improper molding of this and that" parts. Looking at this kit (with a layman's eye) the side panels do tuck in nicely and the side panel moldings are incredibly thin, I went thru in one spot on my first run down scribing panel lines!! The front and rear valance joints are in the right spot.... Anyway just sayin'..... maybe Revell tweeked the tooling btween 2008 and 2010?? I like to build my models the way I would customize them if I won the lottery!?! And I'm not a 100% repro factory stock guy. So all that being said Hope you like the build Gotta snow day today!!

  18. Just asking what paint you used as your yellow .have tried a yellow on a daytona spider I'm not too happy with it but selection was very limited ? Deb

  22. It's the Revell 2010 release 1:25 streetburner kit, 440 Magnum engine comes with it
  23. Yah so this happened..... Polished thru on a visible spot and those rotten ghost seams up the sail panels so thru it in the Dot 3 over night and I'll try it again Primer, Metallic blue, Chrome purple....
