I finished this one about 6 months ago, but had a sunny day (???) and decided to clean it up, shoot it and post it. It's the Revell 1:25th California wheels kit. I built it to depict a hard ride home to Canada from speed week in Daytona. First attempt at weathering the chassis; Duplicolor grey primer, washed with Tamiya hull red XF-9, washed with Tamiya flat black XF-1, drybrushed with Tamiya gun metal X-10 and finally drybrushed with Tamiya buff XF-57. Reasonably grimey I think. Enjoy Criticisms + Comments welcomed. Happy modelling

  12. Future,.... again I really must get some and start experimenting. Thnx Looking great!
  13. Very nicely done Sir!! Love the 'DADS' bottle cap as sign And where on earth did you find those tiny model cars on the top shelf?? Detailing makes it look like a cozy place to work
  14. Looking beautiful Harry! Very nice detailing...do you use Tamiya 'smoke' for washes? I think the round wind 'blocker' would look great. Don't see them often on the car. I find it amazing that you've come this far in one month!!! Keep the updates coming they are very inspirational.

  21. Need to update this one to put an end to this challenge.... I'm sure we have all had builds like this. Where nothing seems to come together as planned, paint foul ups, final assembly woes, lost or broken parts, etc., but we persevere and,.... Finally we have it under glass and into the display case it goes. BIG TIP- make sure there are low voltage lights in your display case above your newest completion! A sense of humor is always needed Happy Modelling
