  1. He Has some killer looking header sets, but due to my first ( and LAST) shopping experience with him. I'll save the time , money, and grief and build my own.
  2. If history is any indicator, i figure ol' Don will find YOU shortly. Just remember to stand your ground.
  3. There are alot of threads on the board about Reliable Resins already. At the risk of getting this thread locked, I suggest you do a search on that name and that will give you a good idea on how to proceed. Good luck.
  4. Just got trade kits in from BIGTRUCK aka Ken Krawiec. Great trade, fast shipping. Prefect as always. Thanks again Ken!!!
  5. Beautiful work!! Love the Stugs and Kitty. How did you do the zimmerit on the Tiger? Its looks great. I can never get mine to look so subtle and "in scale" like that. Yours looks fresh from supply. Needs afew shell gouges, bent up skirts, messy towing cables, and jerry cans hang off of it.
  6. Looks great!!!
  7. Seeing a TV show or old movie with a nice old hot rod or muscle car in it. When I hit a slump, I just pop in a good car movie , and I'm digging in the stash in no time.
  8. Sweet!! Does Testors make the Rootbeer brown metallic in a spray can still/ I haven't seen any in my area in awhile. Thanks much for those reference downloads too by the way. Lots of good info there.
  9. Love those pics!!! Now THATS horsepower.
  10. Nice clean build Thomas!! I have a soft spot for all things VW.
  11. Welcome aboard Terry!! Theres alot of good people and good advice to be had here!! Good to see another Buckeye on here too!!
  12. I saw a special on the Kursk battlefield in the present day, and a team of diggers had found and un-earthed the COMPLETE front glacius plate from a TIGER 1!! complete with visor block, MG socket with remains attached, and some part numbers still visible. That must have been one heck of an explosion to remove that piece of armor from the main hull!!
  13. They came back from Kursk pretty well depleted. They could have been known as the 5th SS Panzer Company after that meat grinder.
  14. Yep!! X2 Duane is a great guy to trade with. Shipping is LASER fast, and well packaged.
  15. Got my trade in from Vince, aka vintagedragcrazy. Perfect as always!!
  16. That is one beautiful car!!! The 2 tone paint sets it off. The only deal that fell into my lap was my house, and i've been flat broke ever since!! LOL
  17. I'm lucky to still have my wife after her car accident. I don't ever take her or our time together for granted because i came within a frogs hair of losing her. She's my best friend.
  18. Just finished up a great trade with DuaneB aka Duane Ballard. Great guy to trade with!!! Kit showed up CRAZY fast and well packed.
  19. Is that the Green 1;1 one that the pictures were posted of on the boards? Beautiful car sir!!!
  20. I'm guessing you have never been divorced? The Happy wife+ Happy Life simply is a mindset that keeps things in perspective. Trust me, if she goofs up, im the first one on her case about it. If both people have the same mindset to make each other happy, then that phrase makes perfect sense. I have never had to sneak kits into the house either, but if left to my own to say when is enough plastic, i'd be living in a cardboard box with a bunch of unbuilt kits. You have been married for 47 years. You have found what "works" for your marriage, give and take, right? Well "happy wife=happy life" works for me. She's that little voice that simply asks if i really NEED another kit when i have so many. She forces me to stop and think about the purchase before i buy it. I DO pay all the bills, Mortgage, TWO car payments, not to mention all the medicals bills since her car wreck. She just keeps it real for me. No war to start, man. Your entitled to your opinion. I only hope my wife and i have 47 years together. We have 12 so far. Thanks for the kit offer Andy!! Much appreciated .
  21. Nah.. I tried that one before too. Happy wife, Happy life. Only cost me a car and house to learn that one. Collecting ex-wives is more expensive that plastic. I think I found a good one this time. I gripe and Grinch about stuff sometimes, but she's WWWAAAYYYY better than my ex by far.
  22. I tried that once. I told her 1 was a builder, the other a spare. It got to the point she was selling the "spare" kits on ebay!!! She does pretty good with my hobby, but I do let it get out of hand sometimes.
  23. I appreciate the offer, but I'm about 1 more kit away from getting skinned alive by the wife. Thanks much for the offer though.
  24. Now That's a score!! Wish we had one locally.
