  4. OOOHHHHH I'm likin this!!! Love the paint. More, please!!
  5. Mike. I haven't given up yet!! I'll post pic's of my gremi later on tonight.
  6. Yeah. That was pretty red. I wouldn't waist any more time or energy on him.
  7. X2. 70's British cars are notorious for electrical and carb issues. Still neat little cars though. $1,000 for a car like that. The guy may have done you a favor. It may have taken a lot more than that to make it road worthy again.
  8. Nah. We don't stand on formalities too much around here. Sounds like you have interests in ship kits like I do. Just about ready to pick a fight with a 1/72 Type IXc-40 U-boat for the colder months.
  9. I also spotted your Harley peeking out from behind your gremmi. Those Chromed rims look alot better than the black!!!
  10. Looks good Mike!!! I got a little bit more done on mine tonight. Got the glass in it, and did some motor work. I should have it finished up by Tuesday night. Do we post picks of our builds after the deadline Thursday?
  11. Yep!! Got all the goodies, new late war roll off torpedo racks, .50 cal guns, Oldsmobile bow gun, 20mm pom pom aft. I must have spent close to $70 on all the aftermarket stuff to turn it into a late war boat. Still cheaper than the Italeri /35 scale kit!!!
  12. I have a BUNCH of aftermarket stuff for that 109 kit Gary.... LOL
  13. Looks good Jason!!!
  14. Thanks man!! I had it as a kid too, but as kind of a hand me down kit. It had been through my two older brothers, and had quite afew pieces missing. I've hunted high and low for this kit, and finally pulled the trigger on it this morning. Can't wait!!
  15. Finally got my "unicorn" kit!!! 1/8 Monogram Jaguar XKE coupe. Still sealed. Been digging for an affordable one of these for YEARS.
  16. Started building model cars with my dad at 5 years old. My first kit was the Baja VW bus with the little motor bike. Good memories. Been hooked ever since. Been building cars ,trucks, ships, planes , tanks, guns... ect . Its a great time to be a modeler!!!
  17. Lookin good JC!!!! I'm in!!
  18. Cool!! You going to use the tinted windows? that would really set the silver off.
  19. That seat looks like the real deal!! I found a split bench out of the amt '71 charger kit that's going in the Gremi after the deadline is met. Fits just right with a little persuasion. Along with a set of slapper bars, sideview mirrors, and maybe a rearview mirror. But not until AFTER the build-off is done.
  20. Lookin good Tim!! I think i'm gonna leave the rear seat out of mine for now.
  21. Just made another smooth trade with 68shortfleet (Jason Lookabill) kits showed up in perfect condition, and as described. Thanks again Jason!! Looking forward to trading with you in the future!!
