  1. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, and best wishes for a peaceful day filled with family and lots of good food.
  2. I remember them being really popular in the 70's. Weren't they called "Zingers" or something to that effect? I used to try to draw the VW versions. Not well though
  3. Kinda looks like a Datsun 510 from the front. It would look about like that with a set of slicks out back too!! Cool drawing.
  4. You have my undivided attention. More please!!
  5. Just got my trade from BIG TRUCK aka Ken Krawiec. Perfect, as always man!! Still scratching around for that Ford truck for ya.
  6. I didn't know Daddy Dave wadded up his new Nova till just alittle while ago. That was one hairy looking crash.
  7. Love that kit!! Good start. I wish they would re-issue it....
  8. Your right. I think it is 1/24 scale. Oops... It sure is set up like the 1/35 scale kit!! Still a great build so far. More please.
  9. Amen. We came up to a crash site where a late model camaro went airborne in a curve, took out a bank of gas meters, and nosed HARD into a creek bank. Sent the front 2 passengers through the windshield, and paryilized the guy passed out in the back seat. We had to walk our gear to the crash because of the gas leak. When we got to the driver i thought he was holding a towel to the side of his face.... It WAS his face. A huge flap of his face was hanging loose from going through the windshield. The car hit the creek bank so hard, it detached the hood from the car and sent it prob 60 feet further up the road. The worst part was the Highway Patrol officer that showed up at the crash scene was the guys father.
  10. WOW!!! I know how small these kits are. And you have taken a good kit and made it GREAT so far!!! I'm working on a Maultier at the moment too. Laser clean build style. Maybe add alittle olive grun blotches.... dress it up in a tree tux.... i agree with the Krylon gray primer making a good base. most of the earlier Opels left the factory in German gray, and the Krylon gray is a dead ringer for faded German gray. any paint wear through would look perfect.
  11. I like the late war camo patterns on the German armor, but the Zimmerit is a real #!!*% to apply. I have Panthers, Just about every mark of Tiger, some mk4's, Airbrushing the different patterns and colors is interesting and ALWAYS a challenge. You do beautiful work sir!!
  12. Looks like you have the beginnings of a nice kampf grupp there. Very mobile, but you could use afew towed 88's or maybe some pak 75's. These tanks were what minted the phrase "blitzkrieg", High mobility with (at the time) heavy fire power.
  13. i'll be able to give you more info on that by about 3 pm Sunday.
  14. Vintagedragcrazy + trade= Great experience!!! Thanks again for a great trade!!! Lets do it again!!!
  15. Just finished up another trade with BigTruck (Ken Krawiec). Great trade, as always!! Thanks Ken!!
  16. Man Ray,You are a building MACHINE!!! Good lookin builds. I especially like the top one.
  17. . You couldn't have picked a better character...LOL!!
  18. Nice save Jason!! That is SHARP!! Like the style.
  19. Wow! That should polish out NICE!! Great start so far.
  20. That is just too cool!!! I'm a huge mini fan, and that's one direction I never thought of !!! Well Done.
  21. Yeah. Maybe open up the doors early Bronco style. Looks cool.
  22. I had this idea of turning a shortbed into a gasser. Those wheels and tires set that truck off. I need to get my hands on another one of these.
