  1. What do the Sunbury trucks haul?
  2. In Michigan, there is a 160,000lb limit, unlike the more typical 80,000. I'm not an expert, but I believe it is up to 20,000lb per axle and up to 8 axles on the trailer. But your typical 18 wheeler set up can gross 80,000 - just like other states, you don't need a four axle van, for example. Some of the other guys on the forum may be able to elaborate on the weight limit laws.
  3. Really cool to see trucks you don't see everyday. Man, those Cali Hay Wagons are sweet! Here's one from around here: A Michigan Tanker - 42 wheeler
  4. Very nice, just enough weathering
  5. Post your models and 1:1 trucks that are unique to a certain area of the country. These can be unique because of state laws or commodities transported, like Michigan gravel trains or California hay haulers. It is neat when traveling the country to see certain trucks you only see in certain places, and also to realize the stuff you see daily (and get bored of) might actually be unique to your area.
  6. Acorn nuts? If so, RB Motion #1455 .075" work nicely. I also just got real metal ones from Ben (Class A Resin) with a set of Peterbilt wheels. They are even more realistic as lug nut covers, but I'm not sure if he sells them seperately.
  7. I placed two orders last year, and I don't remember being unhappy with the timeframe, but I'm not sure exactly how long it took. They make great stuff, and I'm planning on ordering again as soon as they have the latest releases ready on their website.
  8. Pleased to see this one done, compliments to the builder.
  9. Great to hear from you, welcome to the forum!
  10. I ordered directly from CTM's website. It was pretty easy. Just download the excel order form and type in it to fill it out, save it to your computer then send it as an attachment to CTM in an email. They send you a Paypal payment request, and there you go. Really prompt service and shipping. The photo etched items are of the absolute best quality and detail.
  11. Oh boy, I've ordered several of CTM's products already, I can't wait for these releases! Sooooooooo awesome! Thank you CTM!!!
  12. Just came across a 1/87 scale 1977 Country Squire wagon on Shapeways by a guy named rapidpro. Wonder if it could be printed in 1/25? Then, it could be used to convert & cast a wagon from Missing Link... Hmmm, maybe I'm just dreaming again.
  13. Yes, best wishes for your recovery. We understand.
  14. Wow Wow Wow. I'm really impressed. Keep it up!
  15. Interesting info on a often overlooked part, thanks
  16. The Italeri 377 has a Detroit Series 60.
  17. Impressive build and a really neat diorama scene.
  18. Excellent weathering, Excellent details, Excellent assembly. Nice display base, too.
  19. I recieved my conversion parts today... Very Nice! Thanks Terry!
  20. Great work, welcome to the forum. The Cat is much better than the kit Cummins.
  21. Ya know KJ, I'd think there'd be a market for a 3406e/C15 conversion kit. Valve cover, timing cover, etc. to convert the old 3406 into a modern version "E". You could call it a yellow engine "E" upgrade kit.
  22. Funny, modelers have been painting non-Cat engines yellow for years. Now Cat is doing it too.
  23. Interesting, what is under the hood of the Cat versions?
