  1. Thanks. I was wondering if that's where they came from.
  2. I'm impressed with how great those tires look, especially with your weathering. Who makes them?
  3. Received my moluminum order, the engine is an extremely detailed, excellent casting. Great tires, too. Highly recommended.
  4. The frame looks awesome. Just the right amount of weathering.
  5. That is one sweet large car.
  6. What an excellent build. And yes, those brackets, including the ones for the visor, are rarely, if ever, modeled. Very nice work. I like the light bezels too.
  7. Very cool. Love the custom grill and wheels.
  8. KA models makes them too. I got mine from ebay.
  9. Great information, thanks!
  10. Hey guys, anyone know what this is attached to the frame with the blue lines running to and away from it? Probably something with the coolant system, but I don't recall seeing it before. It is a Pete 389 glider with a Reman C16 from Kustom Truck. Beautiful engine.
  11. Yes, it's Jamie Rahmoeller. Glad he is offering parts again.
  12. Oh boy!! Glad to see Mo'luminum back. I just placed an order.
  13. A few more: Class A Resin (Aftermarket parts) Czech Truck Model (Photo etch) Model Truckin' (Decals)
  14. I really like the aftermarket treatment. Nice job, and it looks good with the reefer. With this combo, the scale difference isn't an issue.
  15. What a nice truck. Love the lighting and the figure.
  16. Yeah, Freightliners and Volvos are more common, but I have tracked down a couple photos of Fords, even a Aeromax 120 being used. If it is a custom job, which most conversions are, anything goes. Some manufactures will only build on particular new chassis trucks, but others will convert anything, and I think it is neat when a retired truck is given a new life. Especially, one with style. For me, I had a partially built glue bomb Revell kit, so I thought I'd use that for the build. Kind of like giving an old truck new life. Not for this particular build, as it is a single axle. The axle spread and wheel opening size fits the Revell snap Peterbilt well with a small frame stretch, so I'm planning on using it for that or maybe the snap Kenworth. We'll see. I have a snap Peterbilt on the bench right now too. Thanks again for the parts, that was very kind of you. I appreciate everyone's compliments, Thanks.
  17. Cab complete. Yeah, this project is moving as slow as molassas. I decided on a different color, more details under the hood and the RV box is next.
  18. Looks great! Who makes the 73-75 grille?
  19. Absolutely. Specifically, I was looking at my options of what to put behind my Prostar and VNL 780. The Moebius trailers will work (though it looks a tiny bit small behind the Volvo in the pictures I've seen, but it'll do), but I was taking inventory of what else is available. Thanks
  20. True, "modern" is up for interpretation. To me, it is what you typically see on the roads today. Yes, there are vintage trailers still used in certain cases, but I'm thinking about rigs you'll see at truck stops. I'll check out Gary's list, he emailed me his product line a little while back. I'll also check out KJ's website. And Clayton, I do remember seeing some great mods of the Italeri dump trailer on this forum. I'll check them out again. Thanks If the RoG 48 footer is the same as the Italeri, then yes, way off. I have one, it'll be used as parts for a straight truck someday.
  21. That is pure class. What a beautiful model.
  22. I'm trying to come up with a list of accurate modern US trailers to plan out future projects. The list of modern US tractors is short, but the list of trailers seems to be even shorter. Yes, scratch building or modifying is an option, but I really want to consider all kit options first. The Italeri US reefer is a no. Not accurate. AMT kits? No, not modern. So I only have a few I can think of: 1/25 Scale: Moebius 53' Reefer Moebius Smooth Side 53' Revell Auto Transporter (I guess this is modern enough that you still see similiar trailers on the road today) Revell Heavy Tank Trailer 1/24 Scale: Revell Beall Tanker Am I missing any other kits, in or out of production? Any resin conversions, etc? Thanks
  23. Great work so far. Moebius tires are smaller than Italeri tires, are you replacing all of them? I have thought that Moebius tires and rims are great for 1/25 but look a bit small on 1/24 trucks.
