  1. Just checked mine, cab is fine. A few very very minor blemishes on a couple chrome parts, but not an issue. I don't plan on using most of the kit chrome anyway.
  2. Every time I look at these pictures again I see more and more beautiful work. Perfection down to the last detail.
  3. Nice. I like the color, what is it?
  4. Excellent. Just the right amount of weathering.
  5. I'm so glad this thread resurfaced. This guy is a true master of scale modeling. His builds and dioramas are amazing works of art. Museum quality and just plain fun.
  6. What an incredibly interesting project. Great work so far.
  7. That's a beautiful truck! Well done.
  8. Very nice! Love the outdoor shots.
  9. Agreed. Fireball is a superior aftermarket supplier in all aspects.
  10. Very sharp, I like the chrome accents on the otherwise blacked out fuel tanks and air cleaners. Chrome trim on the black fenders is a nice touch. Good two tone color choice.
  11. Excellent all around! I'd love to see the engine too. What a classic!
  12. I'm glad I bought one. I learned my lesson with the Will Do Wrecker. If you wait, you miss out.
  13. Gary at GW Trucks has T800 parts. You can get a list and order via email gwtrucks@yahoo.com No website, but maybe someone on here has pictures of his T800 hood and parts
  14. Great job, looks awesome!
  15. Nice paint, nice details, well, nice everything. I'd love to hear more about the build process.
  16. Heads up, CTM has got several new awesome items on their website, I just placed an order. http://www.czechtruckmodel.com/eshop/index.php
  17. Several good sources are available, here's three of my favorites: Moluminum http://moluminum-com.3dcartstores.com/ CTM http://www.czechtruckmodel.com/eshop/index.php Double Take Replicas http://kdhumphr.wixsite.com/double-take-replicas
  18. For the hood, go with Gary at gwtrucks@yahoo.com For the ultra cab roof, P&P resin made one, but I'm not sure if it is available. Contact them at ppvintagekits.com
  19. Can't go wrong with black and chrome!
  20. Awesome, l like the base too.
  21. Excellent. Glad to see you take on the project with great results.
  22. So sorry to hear this. Idiots like this ruin the aftermarket for legit guys like you and ultimately buyers like me who count on quality, honest products.
  23. A Japanese company called Doozy Modelworks made some fantastic 1/24 North American 1970's/80's pumps in resin kits. I'm lucky to have a couple. Like many Japanese model companies, their products are limited runs, and they are currently unavailable, but you may be able to find some by searching eBay, etc. If you do a google image search for Doozy Modelworks Pump you'll see the three different types they made.
