  1. Wow! Where to I start? Simply wonderful, you don't see a lot of restomods on here in the big rigs section, especially working, non-show trucks (though this one could show too). Truly impressive use of detail and a tasteful paint scheme. It's realism comes partly just because of the believable choice in custom parts, not over the top, yet you don't see everything the first time you look. It's a model of a truck that could tell a story of how it sat neglected for years until some guy had a dream to re-build it. Wow!
  2. I just got mine in the mail today. What a wonderful kit! So many very detailed parts, and great resin castings. Worth every penny, especially on sale. Highly recommended. Now I'm just waiting for the upcoming re-release of the Italeri FLD 120. Good timing.
  3. A&N has brought back the Daycab SFFA, and it's on sale. I just ordered one, missed out the first time around. I picked up an APU too, it looks very detailed. http://an-modeltrucks.com/
  4. We all truly appreciate your amazing work and contribution to our hobby. I have no doubt that Jamie will do an excellent job carrying on your legacy of fine craftsmanship. I'm looking forward to it. Thank you.
  5. Missing Link makes a resin 1978 Ford LTD 4 door. Excellent casting. Needs parts from the AMT 1970 Ford Galaxie interceptor to complete it, so there you go, everything you need.
  6. I'm looking forward to this one. Tim Ahlborn once mentioned on this forum that this kit has out of scale headlights. Anyone else agree? Are they a bit too big?
  7. Looks great! Makes me wish they'd reissue it all the more.
  8. Great start, I'll be watching this one. The bumper is awesome, did you make it?
  9. She's a beauty! Top notch!
  10. Wonderful. I'm always amazed at how well you can make ugly look so good.
  11. Just checked mine, cab is fine. A few very very minor blemishes on a couple chrome parts, but not an issue. I don't plan on using most of the kit chrome anyway.
  12. Every time I look at these pictures again I see more and more beautiful work. Perfection down to the last detail.
  13. Nice. I like the color, what is it?
  14. Excellent. Just the right amount of weathering.
  15. I'm so glad this thread resurfaced. This guy is a true master of scale modeling. His builds and dioramas are amazing works of art. Museum quality and just plain fun.
  16. What an incredibly interesting project. Great work so far.
  17. That's a beautiful truck! Well done.
  18. Very nice! Love the outdoor shots.
  19. Agreed. Fireball is a superior aftermarket supplier in all aspects.
  20. Very sharp, I like the chrome accents on the otherwise blacked out fuel tanks and air cleaners. Chrome trim on the black fenders is a nice touch. Good two tone color choice.
  21. Excellent all around! I'd love to see the engine too. What a classic!
  22. I'm glad I bought one. I learned my lesson with the Will Do Wrecker. If you wait, you miss out.
