  1. Looking great, that's going to look good once done!
  2. Turned out great, love Jaguars!
  3. Looks great Chris! It looks just like something that would pull up at Riverside track back in the day!
  4. Clean build, very nice!
  5. There were several GM cars that took away design elements form the Phantom, basically it was a styling concept car, which was built upon the retirement of Bill Mitchell from GM design The 'cool' car designs then were long and low!
  6. Been busy with my 'full time' job so only a little progress this last week, hinged doors and cover now, interior progress begun now, and the second set of wheels altered and sent out to 3D printers to be redone!
  7. Different color choice for a Ferrari, that's good! It will look good with that color interior!
  8. Looks great, the paint job turned out looking very good!
  9. n/m Harry, I found it here, not a "How to" thread actually, hopefully will be seen buried in here?
  10. Was there ever a kit - by anyone - of the 1977 Pontiac Phantom issued? I took a look though google search, but didn't find anything Looking for a friend who was with GM design at that time period There are a few old school Big-3 here so maybe someone will know? Thanks!
  11. Yes, I did & have seen those links, thanks! I actually visited the Shelby LV when they first opened, given a tour of the Series 1 production, and received a little information at that time, not a lot, but a little!
  12. yes +1 for setting aside allows your mind to think things through - even though you might not realize it - and come back at it fresh to fix any issues
  13. That's the list from Alex's site, he's a huge Ferrari fan and great model builder, still around on occasion too!
  14. just the grill, or as part of the hood? for subtle deformation, I prefer to use hot water in a dish, let sit for a few second & check pliability, if not enough let soak a little longer, until is just enough to bend / twist back into reasonable position
  15. In my full time job, there is a saying "You're only as good as your last job!" And that holds true in any model product too, be it a kit, a single product, service, or a 'built' model IMO
  16. Possibly Cato, I have been gathering my own library of photos & info, and existing examples of models A client project potentially also If you have some resource of further info and photos that I could use, please contact me on PM or my FB page even Thanks!
  17. Really nice work Chris, Love the rising sun valve cover, paint work looks great!!
  18. Okay, I did not see that, I will go look, Thanks! Now that I have the Fujimi kit, I have all of them in comparison, but then I never leave anything 'box stock' anyways!
  19. Not cryptic at all, it means there are other resources with some effort, I have confidential info and photos for vintage Ferrari's from owners & restorers, even auction houses are resources, so it means there is more than just what you see on the internet.
  20. Fun looking project, Nice work!
  21. Very nice, love the historical detailing!
  22. There is more to be had than you might realize
  23. You're right Art, so the reference material is out there Here is the age old "the best for less", but to get volume pricing for a most accurate model just isn't in the cards IMO and sadly even when a small or independent maker produces a high quality kit, then it's price tag $100+ means many modellers never do step up to the plate, and so not enough are sold to offset the efforts & costs involved
  24. Those are box artwork, not the models themselves BTW I have all of those now anyways
