  1. Update! DONE!
  2. Hey guys, wanted to post a few pics for under glass. It's DONE!
  3. Thank you very much.
  4. I never could figure out how to hinge the challenger nose☹️
  5. Here's a few I wanted to share. The Mazmanian challenger was not a car he actually ran, but I had this cool aqua blue/green paint so... the others were pics I'd seen and wanted to ad them to my drag collection. The color me gone was an attempt to fog on the colors. I never could
  6. heres a pic of the vinyl roof paint. You could also use flat black, or better yet semi gloss black then spray it on from. A greater distance so it almost dry by the time it hits the roof.
  7. Hey, thanks for all the great feedback! It was fun seeing the colors go on. I think the secret was in the prep work. I misted on each color lightly, then carefully baked each stripe so as to minimize any lifting. And even with all the prep, measuring and planning I still screwed up a few spots. Oh well, all in all it turned out decent. Thanks guys. I'll post the final pics In a few days. Just finished all the other painting of parts.
  8. Get the decals! Once you have them, you can do the car anytime! And even if u never do, you'll always have them, or the harder they become to find, you can always sell them. Just my opinion.
  9. Hey guys, wanted to post a few pics for under glass!
  10. Thank guys! I accidentally started another thread, Krazy Kuda colors. I took it outside. The colors really popped in the sun. It was the hardest paint job I've done to date! Won't be doing that one anytime soon!
  11. Hey guys, one last pic of the body. Hopefully I'll finish it by next week. Keep up the modeling!
  12. I used the Sox and Martin reissue kit. So I know I've got the wrong hood. Just didn't feel like ordering another one.
  13. Thanks! Just did it this morning. TS 14 black then I cleared it
  14. Thanks! Been collecting resin parts, just trying to decide how far to go with detailing
  15. IVE BEEN ON THE 70s pro stock kick. Just wanted to get the bodies done. I figure once the bodies are done I can always go back and finish it anytime. I finally found the AG dragster, unbuilt. Did that one too. The black Cuda will be the Motown missile and the cougar is Fast Eddie Schartmans. Just waiting for the decals.
  16. here's a few more. I had to correct a few things on the interior, added the clear lens for the gauges and fixed the shifter. I also forget to blackout the tail panel, which I so ever gingerly corrected. It seems like I'm always doing it the hard way! Gotta slow down a little! But it's coming along nicely.
  17. hey guys, update; the interior is complete. Notice the roll bar on the passenger side to go with the drag race passenger side only!
  18. thanks again! I think all the comments are keeping me motivated!!!! If u look close at the drivers side, I noticed I tore the drip rail foil. After several attempts at foiling the wheelwell trim I gave up and just dry brushed it on. Everything's looking ok, but Im finding imperfections. Well, it's the fun of it I guess but I'm always looking to hone my skills.
  19. yeah! Apparently the real car is functional and drivable, but I would agree with you on that one. I contacted the Wellborn museum and they really liked it. That was kinda cool!
