Thanks everyone for the great comments. Kevin - The hood is flat black primer also. I use Duplicolor Flat Black Primer for all flat black areas. If I want a little sheen to it I coat with Tamiya or Testors Semi-Gloss. Hope this helps.

This is a box stock build of the Monogram kit. Exterior Color is Tamiya Deep Metallic Blue, cleared with Duplicolor and buffed out. Interior is Duplicolor Flat Black primer. Comments welcome.

Hi Monty - It's Duplicolor Universal Silver with Duplicolor clear coat.

Hi Tony - For me, it is much easier to lay down a strip of foil and cut as close as I can to the script then paint, several coats, let dry, and lightly sand the scripts using 3200, 3600 or 4000 grit paper. This allows the foil to come through looking as chrome. Then apply several coats of clear. I only do this method for scripts. All other foiling is done after painting and buffing out. Hope this helps
