  1. Nice!! I'm gonna have to rack up one of these kits.
  2. Thanks Carl and Jim!! I hear you on being busy Jim!! I was out of town for half of last week and have only gotten a couple of things done on the truck since Monday. I'll be hitting it hard this weekend though.
  3. I like it!! Lookin' good so far Jim!!
  4. Man I really like this Billy! Bring 'er home dude!
  5. Another great looking build Blair! I really like that background that you take all your pics with.
  6. That's one helluva build for 4 days! I don't think I could have done this good in a months time frame! LOL. Great job Jesse!!
  7. You're just a building machine Jesse! Looking forward to the outcome.
  8. Here we go. This is just after a washing with mild soap and warm water with everything nice and clean. and here is a day later after polishing with Novus #2 and then I hit it with Novus #1. I was shocked really because the original paint didn't look like this! and a shot of the rear of the body.... As one can plainly see, paint coverage wasn't a strong point of mine back then. lol more on the way...........
  9. Man that looks really good! Especially for being started over the weekend!!!!
  10. Thanks Greg! Dude I'll tell ya....it's gonna take me a lot less time to do what I want to do with this build than it would if I started over. LOL! I'm buiding a 56 Ford F-100 now that I've been on now for about 4 months already and there's another 4 months to go at least. There aint no way I'm about to start another build right now.
  11. John: Thank you. I've gotta say my modeling skills back then were pretty much a "shake and bake" style. Al: LOL!!!
  12. Thanks Andy and Dave. I thought about the barn find look a lot but wanted to see her as I built it years ago. About the only thing I'll do is replace the front tires, headlights that are now missing and a few nick nacks here and there. I'm not going to do the same thing I did to my 70 Dodge Challenger that I built here with going all out just because I wanted this one to be as it was back then.
  13. More pics after taking it all apart. I was surprised at all the dust that had collected in the interior.... I may change that supercharger intake out. I think I have something that will work and look somewhat better... Here's the original glass hood after cleaning all the dust and grime off, shaving some excess flash off and dipping into Future:
  14. Good grief man! Awesome paint finish on this one bud! Wow!!
  15. Billy: Thanks bud! Stephen: Physically yes but I'm hoping for the best under all that dust.
  16. Man that looks really good Randy!!
  17. I must have gotten lucky because I sure didn't have the patience or the skills back then to iron things like that out. lol
  18. Man do I ever hear you there! I tried to use the decals on my F-100 that looked great on the sheet. Hell they even laid down great on the hood but when they dried they bubbled up so bad they looked like colored bubble wrap!!!
  19. Cool! I built this one about 20 years ago and it was a dog of a kit. Will be watching.....
  20. Great start! I really like the wheel change up. What's up with those red wheels on the box top?
  21. Thanks Kevin! Daniel: Yes siree! That is a clear hood. It's hard to tell though.
