  1. This is a level of modeling I have yet to venture in to. Wow!!! Nice work Ken! I can definitely identify with the "stepping back and seeing progress" and feeling good about it!
  2. Looks like you're up to some great building here Jason. The photography is equally as good.
  3. Like I was sayin..........................
  4. That's people for ya. There's not a whole lot that folks do that surprises me any more. Sometimes my wife and I will be watching the news and see something that happened where somebody did something either really sick or really stupid and she'll say something like, "Can you believe that somebody would do that?" . My response is simply, "Yup". I know this about us humans, we are capable of doing anything.....good or bad.
  5. That is funny! I see the "Peeping Tom" over there. lol
  6. Thanks everybody! I worked on the R/H front line this morning and got it all painted and installed a union/ joint to split the front half of the line up in order to make it somewhat easier to handle and form. Carl: I can curse at that Cougar from here if it'll help any!
  7. No but I've got some info you'll need while you're tackling that bad boy. Cool score!!
  8. Great work Jim!! I really enjoy your step by step methods here!
  9. Thanks for planting the seed on how I'm going to solve my exhaust issues. I now have a plan of attack at least.
  10. Wow Marcin! That's some outstanding weathering you've got going there!!!
  11. Great work so far Greg!!!
  12. I'll be watching for that............
  13. Ok fellas after 4 days of bending, cursing, re-bending, more cursing and yet more bending and forming(and cursing) I think I've got it. I finally got smart and took a photo of the last "screw up" with it installed and made adjustments based off of the photo. Why I didn't do this sooner is beyond me!!! I ended up having to slightly tweek the other front brake line at the distribution block to get it the two lines to look similar but I think I can move forward now. I still have the front part of the R/H front brake line to go and paint the line but this right here is a break through for me. Here we go:
  14. I hear ya loud n' clear on that!
  15. Well I can certainly see where it would get your mind off of the recovery end of things after surgery. Hope all goes well there.
  16. Man I really like the outcome of the distributors Pat!! I've been looking back a page or so here and am just awed by the level of detail you're throwing at this puppy. Great work so far bud!!!!!!!!!
  17. Jim: Thanks for the words of encouragement buddy! I attempted the brake line for the 3rd time this morning and had mixed results. With each step I keep getting closer and closer to having it work out. If nothing else, Friday I'll have 2-3 hours straight at the bench. On weekday mornings I have anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour at the bench and that's not a whole lot of time when you count getting set up and clean up times. Dave: Thank you sir. I still have 3 of these Street Demons kits left to get. I've always been attracted to these kits. I had an opportunity to purchase a Saints Henry J while at the last IPMS show I was at but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. After all these years (and I mean about 30 years) of wanting one I had the kit in my hands and just couldn't stand all that "junk" hanging out at the front of the car. I ended up putting it back on the shelf.
  18. Brake line detail turned out great as well as the work on that spare tire John!
  19. Sorry I haven't been in here more as of late Kevin. That trip I took out of town last week has me catching up on not only my own build but also stuff around the house. You know I've got an idea of where you're coming from with all this automotive building as it's all new territory to me as well as it's its own animal. Paint curing/ gas out times and all that stuff rarely play a part in the military builds that I do and it's a learning curve in order to get used to. Looks like you're sticking with it here and pulling off a great build so far.
  20. That's a great job on that truck there Joel!! Nice work on the wood and the bed flooring!
  21. That grille looks fantastic!!! I can't wait to see it on the car as that's really gonna make it come alive!!
  22. Interesting. Will be watching here.
  23. I have the R/H front brake line to go and I think I'm going to go crazy here! I have had to start over 3 times now to form this last line to "route" as the others do from the distribution block. The L/H front brake line I only had to form one time but took me every bit of 3 days worth of weekday bench time (about 2-3 hours) to get it all finished. It's looking like this one may take double that amount of time. I'm getting there but this is a really slow part of the build. I know I'll get past this eventually so I'll stop whining and get back to work.
