  1. This is an admirable project and quite complicated with multiple cars under construction at the same time. I might consider building a model TT semi tractor and flat bed trailer to display them on when finished. Thanks for taking the extra time to take a post your photos.
  2. Your persistence and attention to detail are surely paying off with this build.Looking good .Please keep taking the extra time to take and post your progress photo and sharing them with us.

  4. I love the look of this custom roadster. This proves that a silk purse can indeed be made from a sow' s ear,in other words something beautiful from something so ugly.
  5. Model creativity at it's best! Thanks for sharing.

  11. Nice build of an unusual subject. The paint is outstanding and the stance is right where I like it,on the ground. Thanks for sharing.
  12. Looks good. Great weathering and shading work is obvious. My only suggestion would be to set your diorama in an area where the background is less distracting when photographing it.Draping a light colored bed sheet behind it might work.
  13. Neat to see rare and unusual kits being built and displayed. Thanks.

  19. Thanks for sharing this piece of really early modeling history. Any pictures of the finished car.
  20. This is one of those projects I enjoy checking on every day. Carefully planned work is certainly paying off here.
  21. If this can be finished to look like the illustration shown it will make a very cool model. In primer the hood looks too long. Keep in cartoonish low and in a dark color and those two factors will contribute to a better finished look.
  22. Beautifully done model. There aren't very many unsaid positives here, glad to took the time to document your progress and share the end results with us.
  23. By "cut-off" I mean small pieces left over after they cut large sheets to size for other customers. Kind of of like buying carpet remnants where partial rolls are available at bargain prices. The builders I mentioned were planning 53' long race car haulers and were not wanting to butt splice a series of smaller sheets to reach that length and maintain a seamless look.
  24. I am going to be in Lima,Ohio soon and remember two builders of race car transport trailers who were looking for extra long sheets of styrene for their projects. There is a plastic distributor in Lima that offers large sheets occasionally. I would like hear from those builders to find out sheet sizes and thickness they are looking for. I will look to see what they have and the price involved.
  25. Can you believe that dude is trying to pull that load in that kind of weather......with no gloves on ?
