"Lacking in diorama skills are you ?"......"Then questions of other builders on the forums you should ask"( You should use your best Yoda voice when saying this out loud)
Have you ever considered doing a tutorial for other modelers teaching them how to create the program in a computer to produce something like the amazing frame and suspension parts you make? Many public libraries have the Crikcut(?) cutters available for use and this might be of great assistance to a lot o\f those tech savvy enough to create their own plotted parts programs.
Mickael, check in the model car aisle at any Hobby Lobby for those pens. Also be sure to check Hobby Lobby on line where you can easily print a 40% off coupon !
Great collection of very fine work. My particular favorite has to be that '60 Ford .Those were brand new the year I graduated from high school and they were radically different from the '59's.Thanks for sharing.
Outstanding model. We have owned four real Astros over the years and use them to set up at you shows so imagine one of these crammed full of vintage model kits unloading at your house. Thanks for sharing.
Nicely done David. You have created a driven Lowrider jnst
Nicely done David. You have created a driven Lowrider instead of an overdone show car. Thanks for sharing.
Welcome to the forums Justin. Trust me when I tell you that someone in these forums will have the answer to any questions you have. All you have to do is ask.
Nice model. Only thing I would change would be to have the hold down straps for the hood and roof mounted spare tighter so things would be more secure. Thanks for sharing.
Great model Bernard.I admire your determination to historical correctness and willingness to not accept anything less than perfection in your details.I am certain that had you not insisted on changing that ignition system to the correct parts that there are probably not 2 in a thousand builders that would look closely enough and be knowledgable enough to notice the difference much less mention it.Have a healthy and prosperous new year!!
A Christmas eve "Deluxe" product update. The supplier I bought the putty from sent me an advertising email with other items they offer similar to the putty. Evidently Deluxe offers a water based epoxy sealer for wood and foam. It is called foam armour wood and foam protective coating. It Deluxe part number is DLM- DB50. Evidently it can be sanded and painted when dry. I thought those reading this column just might be interested in knowing about this......and so Merry Christmas to all !!
If you look closely at the shape of the images in the string of lights he (?) has strung in front of the grille, that might explain what he(?) was under the influence of at the time he (?)made those decisions.
I forgot to mention that the 1x 12's that are 24" down from the ceiling are 12" wide and you can angle park those car cases for even more display area. Mine are stacked completely full after 50 years of collecting "stuff".
