  1. Nicely done and period correct as not all cars were immaculately maintained when they were a few years old and had changed hands a couple times. They were simply were a tool to get from point A to point B with little or no thought about cosmetic appearance. I remember my dad hauling coal in the trunk of our '49 Chevy sedan.
  2. Very well done. Great realism and photos.
  3. Nice to see a stock '32 tub. I very seldom see this kit built at all. Thanks for sharing.
  4. I do have an excellent Modelhaus '59 Chevy Brookwood two door wagon kit my stash that I I hope I live long enough to build.
  5. Congratulations on the sheer determination it took to build this model. This proves that if there's a will, there's a way. Please keep up the excellent work.
  6. Would make a kickin cab!
  7. Looks very nice for a home made resin casting! I got my hands on a glue bomb Roller a long time ago and hot rodded it by combining it with some body parts of a monogram forty Ford pick up like the lower half of the cab and the bed and built it into a roadster pickup. I used interior parts from a Pontiac Grans Prix kit seats and dash. Thanks for sharing.
  8. Hope you are healing well. The older I get(now 75) the slower stuff heals. Sounds like things are headed in the right direction on these great kits. Be sure to spread the word when you have them available.
  9. That makes a bunch of sense. Thanks for the lightning quick response.
  10. Please explain the term " day cab" for the non-fire folks, like me. Is there a night cab?
  11. Beautify done '38. There are a ton of things to build with that cab. Thanks for sharing.
  12. This would make unique team with the box as a trailer behind the truck. Load it up with ladders and buckets for a house painter's or handyman' s rig.
  13. Kudos on a really unique build and method of presentation. I like seeing out of the box thinking when done at this level. Great stuff! Thanks for sharing.
  14. Will you be changing the paint on those slicks? There's a big difference between the rubber from front to rear.
  15. Looking great. I like the exterior visor with the lightning holes for a period piece. With a blown V8 a real one would be a hand full at full throttle. Thanks for sharing.
  16. Plug wires look so correct. Very realistic drape and flow to them. Thanks for sharing.
  17. Nice models against a good background photo. Thanks for sharing.
  18. "Buzzy" ? Looks like you have the same affliction I have when typing, with my fat fingers hitting the key right next to the one I actually wanted:)
  19. I have personally seen a Honda Accord coupe in this area twice in the last week.Instead of" Honda" on the trunk lid it has the word"Chrome".Really gets your attention for sure.We have several Honda factories in this part of Ohio building both cars and motorcycles.
  20. Hope that works for you. I figures you would pick up on that topic when I posted it. What it he picture you posted a model of ? Aircraft maybe? The side of this bottle says it will cover one square meter.
  21. I am building a 1/25th scale 1936 Airstream Clipper travel trailer. To create the basic body shape I have made a body buck from blue builders foam sheet. This is a common house insulating material available at all the big box type home improvement centers. I live in Jackson Center where the Airstream factory is located and they have an original '36 Clipper in their collection of antique trailers so I was able to take some photos of it several years ago along with accurate dimensions. As I have done several time for past projects I had the photos enlarged to 1/25th scale to create templates for the compound of the body shell.I was looking for a way to reinforce the foam buck to make it stronger. After purchasing some acrylic body putty from The Deluxe product line I recieved an advertisement for other Deluxe products. One of those was their # DB50 Foam Armour. This a thick white brushable acrylic product that is easily applied and dries clear in less than 24 hours. You can cleam up with water and there is no odor at all. Now I think I am going to make paper templates of the many individual segments of the body shell, transfer those to .020" sheet styrene and form them over the foam buck to create the classic lines of this iconic trailer. I just wanted to pass along what I know about this product to those looking to make stuff from foam and need to make it more durable. I paid about $ 10.00 + postage for a bottle that has 250g in it(British made).
  22. Looking forward to seeing this masterpiece of a show rod at Columbus on the 17th.Another killer kustom kreation!
  23. Beautiful work. Look very complicated.
