I am building a huge mid '20's flatbed truck in 1/25 scale.I plan on basing the frame and drive train on the Monogram '26 AC Mack bulldog kit.I have two donor kits for parts and plan on having tandem chain drives in the rear. I want to create a scratch built wooden cab and am looking for possible sources of design ideas and information.Naturally I am turning to the world's' most knowledgeable source for answers......our readers. So all you antique truck lovers and builders...where should I be looking? Thanks for your help!

As part of an ongoing project I want to build a 1925 Ford model T touring car body and stock interior.I am wondering what to build the body from.I am considering splicing 2 roadster body's togeather along 2 interiors.Any suggestions from our learned readers? Thanks in advance for your help.
Congrats on a week deserved award...but why did you let that old dude pose with your plague instead of doin it yourself?Almost all kidding aside, another great model for us mere mortals to aspire to!
I have been toy collectoras long as I have been a model builder.Tonight I saw an extremely cool thing on Pintrest.I is a wooden business card from Flight Coffee Co.that makes into vintage fighter plane model.
I have other wooden plane was part of my collection and would love to add one of these as well.
Can anyone help?
Sounds like you are working very carefully being sure everything is correct and accurate. No Need to to rush.I'd rather see something done right than done quickly. Thanks for keeping us in the loop.
Absolutely stellar(interstellar?)work Ira!This would look so cool suspended under a battery powered drone prowling around your neighborhood in the dark looking for more parts in the recycling bins at the curb!
Your color choices for weathering the under hood details is excellent.they add a lot of realism to the project. Thanks for sharing your work with us.Great work!
Anyone interested in building one of these should contact Don Holthaus. He has had this in his line for several years.I did the original master for him from one of his resin metros a long time ago.
FYI that "weird texture"on the running board was the diamond plate textured step plate that Ford added for safety resons.A smooth wet steel plate right where your feet go for entry and exit from your car was not very safe.
Also not very early model T's had doors on both sides of the body and actually did have have only a raised panel line where the door would be.
