Nice I watched that movie not long ago for the umpteenth time at our cabin. We only have a VCR so it was old school a little grainy just the perfect way to watch the old classics. Nice job so far.

Great work John I'm really loving all this detail work, now I keep playing with stuff on my bench trying to master some of it, instead of building my Nova but all is good these techniques will come in handy later as my builds progress. Thanks again for sharing. Bob P.S. Hope the neck gets to feeling better.

Front Engine Dragster: The Old Master

392 vs 426 Hemi's. easiest way to tell mags on the front of 426 on the back of 392. 426 car has a air dam in the front of the motor I guess they updated the car when the 426 came available. That's my take on the 2 photos. -

Pro Mod "Motown Missile" FINISHED! 4/6/14
Skypower replied to am73grand's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
I love where this is going, it's how I wanted my first build to go but I couldn't find a blower to fit my Hemi so I just thru some Dominators on it and made it more of a street hot rod, I mocked mine up with the big injector too I think it looks really cool. Yours is where I wanted mine to go but didn't have the parts or skills to build it that way. Looks great. Here's a pic of mine mocked up, and then how it ended up some day I hope I can do what you guys do. -

I will be watching closely, I like the aged look. Never tried it myself only building my second build but may try some of this on this build. -
My primer Mobil, it may stay in primer I'm not sure I'm kinda liking the everyday street rod look. It will get a fresh coat of primer if I decide to leave it this way.
