  1. I did this one just to get it on the shelf.
  2. There are others out there that may be thinking [ not another 57 chevy] but from what I see here there are still a lot of people who do like them. I will keep up with this one also. When you do that paint job,can you show some step by step photos ? From start to finish of coarse.LOL I have some 1/12 57's and I'm thinking of building a nomad out of one of those. Keep up the good work.
  3. They came out realy good.
  4. Yea man that came out good. Thats a neat trick with the barrier I'll try that. Earl
  5. Yea this is a good idea. As for my taste of models,I look at the craftsmanship and what it takes to build any model.
  6. Your right Cato forgot to put the LOL on the last reply. As for your build you have going here lownslow we have all been there. I do'nt know if this kind of thing makes you want to give up on this one but do,nt its looking to good to do that. At least you did'nt do like me this weekend,I found out tha JADA kits are made of a diffrent plastic than your regular kits and they do'nt bond well together. So I went with another Revell kit to finish my truck. Thats right cut up TWO CARS man was I mad. So sanding that roof is'nt so bad. Earl
  7. I do'nt use nothing but the cans, but looks to me that you'll have to go all the way to the plastic to fix that,it looks like something you missed on the first clean up before painting.
  8. great job looks very nice and clean
  9. Thanks for the comments everyone.
  10. I agree with you 100% try to build something like this and post daily, weekly. I'm glad we'll take a year's worth of posting our WIP's in the Big Rig CBP your planning. Skip if you want to see what your talking about start a CBP on it and see how many do'nt join that one. Thanks Earl Miller
  11. Yea that truck is looking real cool and I do'nt even built those type models. However I may use yours as reference to build me one if thats ok with you. Keep the photos coming. Thanks Earl
  12. Here's the latest. Got the hood changed over with the mustang hood blending in. The rear bumper has still got to be worked out.
  13. The jeep came out nice.
  14. HEADS UP This is for anyone that tries to change clips from other kits like the mustang clip that I put on my 53 truck. DO NOT USE BIGTIME BRAND KITS. I'm not knocking the company any way what so ever. The reason is this.I dont know what the problem is but I'm having a hard time making it bond to the plastic that the 53 is made of. Using crazy glue if that do'nt work its back to the start with a Revell kit. My CA glue may be to old,it did'nt work after sitting over night.
  15. Thats a nice color choice. Those wheels look good to.
  16. Your idea is right on. As for today's taste,it is what it is,a reminder of the past very well done.
  17. Yes it do's look like its happy. I'll put up some more photos when I get it straighten out,a lot of changes going on right now. Modlbldr The idea came up after I took a 41 Chevy and built it with 69Camaro look in the front & back. However it's been knocked around and needs to be redone but the photos are the orignal fresh look. I thought since that turned out good why not a mustang. Thanks for all the replys. Earl
  18. Yea your right its just been a long day funny thing is that I'm sober all the time.LOL. Thanks Earl
  19. Very good build. Where did you get the tire set from?
  20. This is my CBP truck. It's something I've thought about for sometime now. The rearend clip will have the Mustang bumper with the Mustang lights sunk in and the rest will be scratch built around it.There's still a lot to do to make it all blend in ,but it will work out. Not sure about color or tire's right now.
  21. Hey man if it was real since you built it you could drive it,but make sure your paper work is in order before you put the fire in the hole LOL. Cool truck man
  22. Thanks Clay And a very big thank you for what you do for our country. Stay safe and God bless Earl
  23. Hey David The build is moving right along I have everything primed in gray now. The next step is to cover it with white primer to make the red look better. I'll do that sometime this weekend & let it set for a few days to gas out. When I get it painted I'll put some more photos up,once it's painted I'll let it set for a week or two before putting it together. However I am starting this one between final steps.
