  1. Looking great. I'm glad you found the right tires.
  2. Im a little confused, do you have two threads for the same truck? Is this the one with the Cat conversion?
  3. Gator, they were fiberglass but I'm using my artistic license here. Kind of like a model of a rusted corvette that I've seen.
  4. Sam, it's a brand called NOW and the color is aluminum. It came out way shinier than I wanted. I was looking for a dull silver, and instead it came out looking chrome. I'm not sure if I'm keeping it like this.
  5. Thanks Gordon and Dennis. I may tone that rot down a bit. I'm also thinking of a few last min details.
  6. Thanks Dennis! It's been a great platform to test some new ideas, and things I've seen that I wanted to try.
  7. Thanks guys. This is totally just some uninspired, let the model build itself type of projects. Sometimes, those end up being some great pieces of the collection. I'm using some decals made by a friend of mine with my late grandfathers name on it. He never had a Diamond Reo, but if he did, it'd look like this!
  8. I've commenced work on Old Green again while I've been weathering the Brockway. I added the tailgate, finished the grill, added the emblems, and started doing the base work for a little rusting.
  9. Here's some progress on the Brockway. I've continued the weathering and small details. I started weathering the trailer as we'll. The 5th wheel has been fixed for the frameless trailer, and wet line added. Drilled out fender for missing headlights
  10. Oh yes, and a ton of brochures. Thanks for reminding me Mark.
  11. I have a bunch of emblems, shirt patches, horns, mirrors, signs, pistons, Alcoas(bench grinder pedistals), pictures, and a Peterbilt guage panel all decorating my shop. Im sure theres more Im forgetting. Oh, and some shift diagram plates from an old Brockway 200 series.
  12. This is either the AITM conversion, or it was Frank Gortsemas casting before AITM. I can't remember exactly what year Dave started casting. I have one of Dave's cabs and it's very nice. http://www.aitruckmodels.com/pages/ck75diamondt950.html
  13. Looks good! You could get away with putting some 66"s on it
  14. I really like what you did with the front bumper. And as the others have said, those front tires really fill up those fenders. Keep up the great work
  15. The grill is probably stock.
  16. They were based on W9's but they were very customized. You would be in for a lot of work to try to turn stock a KW cab/hood into the race truck, but it certainly could be done.
  17. It's a bad tease that they put the WT9000 on the box cover, but never made a kit of one.Bummer......
  18. Thanks for sharing these. I have never seen a lot of them. Have any of you guys ever built the Ford Turbine engine?
  19. Simply amazing work on that engine!
  20. Great built. I'm looking forward to seeing more!
  21. Thanks Sam. I drilled a few holes in the seats, thinned the plastic from the back, made the holes irregularly shaped with my exacto, and pulled some cotton through from behind. I had to super glue the cotton to make it be still. This is the last update for tonight. Just some more paint detail. I darkened in the grill, silvered the fender tread, brushed in some rust, and brushed the tires with some thinned olive drab green. I detailed the rear wheels, which will then be rusted and dirtied. Plenty more to come.
  22. I have a few new mock-ups to add. GMC Astro 1960 Chevy C-70 wrecker progress on the junkyard Brockway interior
