  1. Snake, Ding, Ding. I used to love the game of stealing bases Great tune!! Their is not one song I don't like on Bat Out Of Hell!!! Truly a classic
  2. #1) Stop right there #2) Her daddy was a lazy no count Claims he had a bad back #3) It stated with a kiss Now were up to bat A little bit of laughs, a little bit of pain #4) As he listened I explained And he left me with a prayer That I'd find you
  3. # 5003 I'll SWAG this one! Trouble? I think I'm in trouble? Fleetwood Mac?
  4. Allen, I do 1:1 custom painting and I never cross breed materials I always stick with one manufactures product from start to finish. It is my experience and feeling that, that is best practice. I think duplicolor makes a fine product for modeling (I personally would not use it on 1:1) I would definitely say use Duplicolor clear over your Duplicolor ground coat.
  5. The band that every garage band cut there teeth on with Proud Mary Credence Clear Water Revival or Just Credence I can't remember the name of the tune and I'm not going look it up ( I don't play that game) however I will be humming that one all day!!! Great tune Great Band!!!
  6. Tubbs, Don't feel bad I get that all the time! I need to get a super secret alert system to catch new posts ( just kidding!!! It's all in fun but some of you guys must sleep with your computer lol) Crazy Ed, 1&5 were answered by Reverb on # 4934 And I'm spent!
  7. Steve, The fact that you still live at home makes me believe that you are a younger modeler or a college grad that is having a hard time finding employment, I hope it's that you are a younger modeler!!! Anyhow it is great to see you on board!!!!! You will find a great bunch of people here who are always willing to help!!! Good luck with all your projects! Jimmy "Rass"
  8. Post # 4932. That was quick!!! You guys are faster than a jack rabbit on a first date!!! The winners are Crazy Ed and Capt Reverb. Great job gentlemen!
  9. Here's another theme based comin' at ya! I'll title this one Fun and Silly Songs #1) Put your hands on your head Let your back bone stretch #2) You take a bus marked "Lakewood Drive" And you keep on drivin' till your out of the city #3) Keep a-wearing your bracelets and your new rara Cross your hear-yah with your live in bra #4) She loved me so long and she loved me so hard I finally passed out in her back yard (Edit: I need to find a girl like that!!! Now that's some lovin) #5) Said "doctor, aint' there nothin' I can take?" I said "doctor, to relieve this belly ache"
  10. You can imitate front men like Lou Gramm and Steve Perry but you can never duplicate them. They both had a time and place in rock and roll history that was timeless! For those who are old enough or had a older sibling that was into music in the sixties we lost a great female singer in Leslie Gore today from Cancer. She was 69 years young. May she rest in peace!
  11. Tom, Thanks for sharing!!! Peace Brother Jimmy "RASS"
  12. Great Job Bruce!!!!! Many people say you know that song Teenage Wasteland. I'm Guilty of getting song titles and lyrics twisted all the time! I have two that I find funny, one is mine (one of many) and the other is my sisters I can't believe I'm going to put this out there!! Cher's song Gypsies Traps and Thieves. I thought the lyrics were "We here it from the people of a thousand colors" and it's "We hear it from the people of the towns they call us" or something like that. My sister has a really great one and it's from a traditional Christmas Carol, What Child Is This (I think that's the name) The verse is "And Ransom Captive Israel" She thought it was and "And Rent A Cab In Israel" lol Edit: The Christmas Carol name is not. What Child Is This. I checked the Lyrics and I'm embarrassed I don't know the tile.
  13. Reverb, Excusssssssssssssse Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee on the double post, I can't hardly remember what I did yesterday yet alone what was posted here a month ago! Second song posted on 4872 still up!! I can't believe no one has gotten that one yet!
  14. Hollywood, I prime most everything, even if it's just a light coat to act as a guide to show imperfections Their was a post started by Clovis on this thread June 20, 2014 (#4411) titled "What type and brand of rattle can primer do you use" I replied on June 21, 2014 with what I use, it was on page 14 yesterday, check it out I hope you find it useful!
  15. Tom is correct bathroom fans are not brushless they are shaded pole which indeed do create a spark!!!! Tom has built one of the finest booths I have ever seen!!!! Maybe if you ask real nice he will share his information with you!
  16. Snake, It is Walk away Renee, The Tops did have a version of it but I'm looking for a group that had a hit with it. They were basically a one hit wonder band.
  17. #1) And when I see the sign that points one way The lot we used to pass by every day # 2) Sally take me by the hand We'll travel south cross land
  18. Ding Ding Casey!!! I have no idea what part of my brain had that one! I listened to part of it on I tunes today and it had a pretty cool pedal guitar part! Have a great weekend music lovers Jimmy "RASS"
  19. Harry, You make a great point(s) I have a fairly large music collection (vinyl and CDs) the last few tears I have purchase my share of music from ITUNES mostly from the 69 cent area (el cheapo) the other night I was looking and they had a category Hits of the 2000s (I didn't know their were any hits in the 2000s :D ) anyhow at least 60-70% of the songs had a Red Tag warning. Yes indeed it's a shame what the music industry offers today!! Jolly, You are correct on Hey Nineteen, I can listen to SD all day long and never get bored!! Great Band. Her long legs were tan and brown, y'all Better keep your eyes on the road, son
  20. Welcome back Tubbs! I've been stacked too!!! Snake: I loved your take on Chest Fever! Letterman is a sweet and sour for me!! Love the fact he is involved in Racing! Can't stand his narrow mind! (and he's not even funny anymore) Shafer is a great musical talent and has many credits to his musical career. I hope D.L. Has fun consoling his Yuk Yuk buddy Brian Williams! The Cuervo Gold The fine Colombian
  21. Love that crazy Rockford Band Cheep Trick!!!! Their fan base is rabid, what a great time!!! Was in the front of at all places Chocolate Fest in Burlington, WI. I was below the bass player (don't know the name) and he played a 12 string bass most of the night, up until then I had never heard of or seen a 12 string bass. When I listen to CT I always listen for the bass as it is a unique sound. When I hear The Flame I get chills, we've all been there, lost love, divorce, very deep song!!! # 2 on post 4411. Chest Fever would be correct. Done by many bands, however I was looking for The Band or Three Dog Night. Surprised no one got it! Have a great weekend everyone!! I'm doing drywall work today (rather have a root cannel) Anyone what to help??? I didn't think so!!! Have some more themes rolling around in the grey matter!!! See you on the B side. Peace Jimmy "RASS"
  22. The results are in for 4411 Capt Reverb # 1&4 Greg # 3 Harry # 5 #2 us still up! This was recorded and popular by two groups in the 70s a semi deep cut I had to stay away from sharp objects yesterday as I had that Carpenter song rolling around in my melon all day
  23. Another theme coming at you! The Hammond B3 organ coupled with the Don Leslie rotary speaker produced some memorable Organ riffs! Here's five..... Artist and Song. Just as Mike does (AKA Capt Reverb) I encourage you to listen to these songs one more time! Mike has turned us all on to some great music! Thanks Mike! Jimmy "RASS" 1) When seeing you only breaks my heart again There ain't nothing I can do about it 2) I feel the breeze down in my knees But just before she leaves, she receives 3) Been a hard day, nothing went to good Now I'm gonna relax, honey, everybody should 4) I said baby (baby) Now it's for sure (it's for sure) 5) Why keep me cold When it's so warm inside Come on baby Your love is too good to hide
  24. How does it feel when there's no destination that's to far And somewhere on the way you might find out who you are
  25. Tubbs, I'm sure I got the lyrics twisted, I had the 45 and drove my mother nuts!!! I have no idea how I remembered that song, but couldn't get it out of by head. Artichoke Hearts!!!
