  4. AMT's 340 Duster comes with both the Six pack and single four but it is 1/25. I plan on using it for my 66 Barracuda build. I am not sure what scale the barracuda is but it's the only one I found
  5. Oops missed that . To bad I sld my 49 Ford a few months back
  6. Maybe an earlier release. Mine is a 2002 release withe the 440 and stock Flathead
  7. I thought the 354 could be a bored out 331 but had not done the math yet. Most likely any of those caddy engines will work . I have a 49 Merc kit buts it's a AMT and comes with a 440. Since I am not a big Caddy fan I will either find a parts pack on ebay or buy the Revell Merc. I could always use the Merc on another project. Perhaps a $9 Merc Sedan Delivery Thanks for the replies and info
  8. I was pondering the idea of building a 1962 Mustang concept. With it being much smaller than the other Mustangs not sure I want to start with a 289 Cobra frame and make it a mid engine or just build a tube frame from scratch.
  9. After looking thru the posts on parts packs I noticed a pack for a 354 Caddy engine. My google search only showed up Parts Pack posts. On one of my future projects (turn the Tweedy Pie into The Kookie Hot Rod) and it calls for a 1952 331 Cad engine. My question is will the 354 work as a 331?? Or is there another source?
  10. Seems like I remember a all chrome motorcyle
  11. Yes I would call it a "Pony" car not a "muscle " car. The GTO was Pontiac's "Muscle" car
  12. I have the Riley heads from the Rev 31 Model sedan but I am more interested i headers and intakes and carbs. no need to search your stuff Ace, I think it was mostly Riley and Fronty I found all my old aluminum tube and bending jigs so I will most likely make up a set of headers Not sure yet what to do on the Carbs and intake. I will locate my old parts boxes and see what I come up with. I don't want anything modern something from back in the 50's era Thanks for the relpies Jon
  13. My first "back into the hobby" project calls for a hopped up 4 banger. I can't seem to find much out there on the innerweb of aftermarket speed equipment. Does anyone know of a source ? As it looks I will have to scratch build what I need Thanks Jon
  14. I would call it a "Merculater" . The bottom looks like a 60's Merc, the top from a little later.
  15. One of my Projects is recreate my 1:1 scale 66 Barracuda I have found an old kit and found an engine (318/340) but still need some slotted aluminum wheels to match mine. Anyone know of a kit with this syle or a site that sells them? Thanks Jon
  16. Hi everybody I have been building model cars off and on since the late 1950's. I plan on retiring in the near future and will getting back into building a few more. My first projects will be to build Ford Sedan Deliveries ranging from the early 1900's to the 1960"s. I would like to do more detail work and getting smoother paint finish. Jon
