  1. Sorry, guys; been working. I was unable to find the MSD box, so I'll have to make another. I made it out of some stripstock and a finned valve cover piece. Guess I'll have to make another....
  2. At this point, I'm unsure I'd be able to get it; however, I'm VERY interested in it. I'd definitely buy one, in say, a month?
  3. Would be interested in the Ford, dependent on price; message me, if you would.
  4. Got a Hess Training Van off eBay for $35 in the box... well, I should say my father got it and I owe him some money for it! Been looking for a well-priced (read "cheap") one for a while!
  5. Also, I like to see how you change your profile picture for a build.
  6. I love British cars. The styling is so... spot-on. Even the Morris Marina, which I know everyone hates.
  7. I really dig your weathering results. Any chance of a tutorial?
  8. Love the FTOs!
  9. Posted this before, but it got broken in a few places, and I wasn't overly happy with how it turned out. So, naturally, I re-rusted it, this time with powders and some dirt-colored paint. New things added: just rear window mesh... ...lettering... ...and "teeth" in the grille opening. For the lettering and the white parts of the teeth, I used a white paint pen from Walmart. Painter's Choice, I think; the one with the fine point. Questions, comments, whatever you like. I do know the wheels are four-bolt, before you point it out... Eventually, this will be the "parts runner" or "scrap hog" in a junkyard diorama. I've already made a Ford Shoebox for said diorama.
  10. I also like the Ringbrothers idea... specifically for this.
  11. After a non-stressful school day, I went to work for the first day. Smooth sailing, good work, not to mention I made money!
  12. 67 as well. Says I'm more right-brained, spontaneous and intuitive.
  13. I increased the generator size tonight to more represent a 12v system. Also made a carb with a big stack on it and an MSD ignition box which has gone missing. /'.'\
  14. Well, $30 for a kit is dandy as far as I'm concerned, as long as it's a new tool!
  15. You shouldn't always make shipping plans before it arrives. I ordered some wheels from Hong Kong once. Shipping time said it was expected in four business weeks! Wheels were in the mail next Saturday.
  16. Oops, yeah, FA, not FP! And I just got an HO scale FA not too long ago.
  17. Don't build full builds. Detail an engine, do some sanding while watching TV, research pictures on the Internet. Detail a snap kit, make something from a handful of parts.
  18. Look at the Grand Master! And this is the Impostor, on a Corvette frame! I was never impressed with the previous Foose kits, but these are some heavy hitters.
  19. Alright, party people. I'm going to be back updating this one. Plans for the rear wheels are to deep-dish 'em to give a leveled effect versus the front wheels. I'll still have to scrounge around for the tubing to attach them to the spindles. However, the paint will get another clearcoat as it's quite orange-y. Afterwards, the headliner will get put in, along with the glass, and I'll make interior junk. If I can find a good carb, I'll put it on there. Anyways, good to be back. Suggestions welcomed as I know a few people were following this with aplomb. One thing I'd like an opinion on: tinted blinkers/taillights?
