  3. Thanks James, and after posting the pics, i have already removed the red stripe, it does not look right..
  4. Not retired mate, just divorced!! So when i want to build models, I CAN!! Thanks very much too..
  5. This was a quickie build, something nice and easy, and got it done in about 10 days. ( nights).. Pretty stock apart from some lowering and a modern set of wheels..
  6. Thanks heaps guys, and Tim, the paint is auto acrylic, the grey is a Hyundai "grey metallic" , not very exciting in the name stakes, and the other is something a friend gave me when he upgraded his paint system, which changes color depending on how many coates, so i am no help on what it is called, but i do love it, as i have done a few builds in it now.
  7. I really can't see why you need to apologise, there is nothing wrong with what you are doing, and i figure if people can't tell the difference between real car and a model car, maybe they should look harder. I get criticism about my pics sometimes too, but , like yourself, WE ARE MODELERS, NOT PHOTOGRAPHERS..!! We try with what we have, a fancy camera equates to a lot of models, i know where my money will be spent. It's better than photoshopping something that looks like $..! so it LOOKS like strawberry jam..
  8. Thanks very much guys, i did take quite some time on this one. espo, the seats are from the spare parts box, with a few modifications. Harry, i used the police # plate just because the kit had a police option, just something quirky...
  9. Most of these kits are built stock, some very nice builds too, but i like to be different...... Engine has had a pair of turbo's added, i scratch built a 4 link rear end, channeled the chassis, and changed up the interior so it now has a 4 bucket seat set-up. Wheels are Aoshima and the paint is all Auto Acrylic, and a hint of BMF where i think it should be, not what the factory wanted..
  10. I like that, sweet color choice and very nicely done.
  11. This is the best thing you can do with the Ecto kit i think . I turned one into a hearse about 10 years ago, and they look real sweet. Your's is a bit different to what i did, and looks great with the rear quarter windows filled in.
  12. Nothing like a PURE snake skin interior..
  13. WOW, that is tough, what a great looking build, sweet paint too.
  14. What a superb metal finish, very nice rod..

  19. This one is the best of all, it just smacks you in the face as SUPER UNIQUE. Great color scheme too, i just love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. That is a cool build with an absolutely BEAUTIFUL color, nice work.
  21. This is SERIOUSLY WAY COOL !! The engine actually looks real, SUPERB job mate..
  22. The only traction control should be the right foot, that sorts the pretenders from the drivers i reckon.
  23. Pics or it didn't happen...
