It's a very poor photograph, all distorted...

Here is my take on the Superbird, Pro style..... Some serious work on the rear tubs and chassis to get it low, removed the leaf spring set up, and fabricated my own set up. Opened up the headlights and made buckets and lens' for them, got rid of the shopping trolley wing and made my own aswell.. Made a late model style injection set up as well. Had to split the hood scoop as it would not all fit under it after i painted it.. But that happens when you channel the chassis, and don't measure properly. Wheels and tyres are from the Dodge Sidewinder kit. Paint is Dupli-color "Mean Green" Acrylic.

I have not been able to buy kits at this price for 15 years! The average kit here in Tasmania and most of Australia is $45-$50, and has been up there for a long time, you just don't know when you have it so good. But, all hobbies are expensive, so you just need to choose carefully i suppose, it wont stop me from building them..

That is looking real sweet, i enjoyed this kit too. And i noticed you put the chrome around the roof too, i think it looks better than what the factory thought should happen aswell.

I usually pop out a model a month on average, and usually run into the old problem " what to build next" . That was until i joined Jerry's Cherry's Model Club, over there we have a monthly build off theme, this has made it so much easier to get straight into my next build, occasionally i don't like the theme presented, so i just build something i want to build and wait for the next one. As for themes at shows,... i don't have any shows where i live, so these places are my showcase... THANKS...

I have used these exact kits, and with imagination, you can come up with some amazingly wild creations, just keep trying different ideas, they can look awesome.

If i live long enough, EVERY kit i buy will get built, being in Australia, i never grew up seeing these cars for real, never seen one of these race/drag cars go down or around a track, so to me, they are just models, and are there to be built. I also don't mind chopping and customizing them up for the same reason , they are Just Plastic...

That has come out just great i think, and i love that color on it..
