    My 3 for 2016.

Nice variety, but like others... LOVE that Mopar...
  4. 3 superbly tidy builds Steve, very nice..
  5. My average shelf price has been $45+ for a long time now, i build on average 14 kits a year, all i do is put more detail into a build to make it last, that way, $40 a month plus sundries... it's not too bad really. Way cheaper than the 1:1 habit..
  6. Now that is SWEET, a very clean sharp build.
  7. Now that has ATTITUDE !!! Very nicely done and weathered.
  8. Some nice custom touches there mate.
  9. Very nicely done, very cool..
  10. I love the shape of these Chargers, very nicely done.

    68 Dart

Thanks so very much guys, there were a few "firsts" on this build, and very happy how they ended up..

    68 Dart

Thanks everybody.. mangodart, cheers, but not really possible the way the part is made mate, as it has locator tabs on it so it does fit right.

    68 Dart

    68 Dart

Revell 68 Dodge Dart, with Aoshima BBS LM wheels, which would not fit under the fenders, so i flared them a little.. Also got rid of the leaf suspension and made my own rear end set-up. Interior went a little overboard, but it was an experiment that i am happy with the result. Used the kit 426 Hemi, just added a couple of huge 4bbl carbs and some detailing. Paint is all Auto Acrylic Toffee Bronze.. that's what i will call it anyway..

    1957 Del Rio

    Nicely done.
  19. I love that color scheme mate.
  20. 2 very nice builds, and she paints better than a lot of "experienced" modelers i see on some forums..
  21. Thanks very much guys, she's nearly done, just final assembly now.
  22. Dan, i have no clue where the carby's were from, i just have them, a copy i suppose. As for putty, i always use Squadron white putty, and then Automotive spray putty over that, to seal it, as white putty will suck up the auto acrylic paint otherwise.
  23. Some very impressive computer work there Harry, me, can barely type my name with out mucking it up, so i did my idea in plastic.. What if, Chevrolet did a fastback, like Ford did. My fastback Camaro.....
  24. Thanks guys, Dave, sometimes 'less is more', depending on what the focus is on with the build mate, and this time i don't think stripes will work, but stay tunes, i have something on the back burner which will have more than enough fancy striping.. Well, i also got the engine in, it's the kit 426 Hemi, with a couple of bigger carby's. Next pics will be of it finished..
