  1. Some very nice work there mate.
  2. That is a very tidy 1 too, very well built.
  3. On the quiet, it's all about sticking to what you know, 30 years of using Automotive Acrylic, and NOT listening to every expert who has an opinion, just work out what works for you, as we are all different. Thanks too. :)
  4. Thanks , the only one in that lot, painted in nail polish is the Willys mate.
  5. This is what modeling is for me too, RELAXING after a hard days work... and i do the same, rebuild those that did not turn out how i wanted, either when the stash runs low, or because you have learnt more since you built it.. Some great variety and some good results there for the year mate, now we start again..

  11. Thanks everybody, i think i had a lucky year with the paint.. Michael, a tutorial on paint is not something that would work in pics really, as what suits one, does not work for the next guy, but , all i can say is PREPARATION !! make sure every stage is perfectly smooth, if it's not, you will never get the depth and shine. Happy to help if i can, just shoot a PM .

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You..... i appreciate it guys..
  13. Thanks Andrew and Kevin, mate, i ONLY use automotive acrylic paint, i treat the model like the real thing, and the results show. I refuse to use model paint any more, it is garbage in MY opinion. If it's good enough for the real deal, i'm using it. !! Thanks mate.

    41 WILLYS

I have built so many of these, i decided i needed to do something completely different. I started with late model Aoshima Kranze wheels, and made the rest to fit. There are a lot of subtle modifications, and the paint is Purple Pearl nail polish.
