  1. I would enjoy trying to replicate it more, than having a "B" grade version of it released, we all know it would not be correct anyway, just too many mods for them to bother getting it right.
  2. And now were all polished and foiled. Ready for assembly and detailing.
  3. Sweet mate, i'm watching, i love building lowriders, especially the paint side of it..
  4. Thanks guys, Richard, ya just got to have faith in the vision mate... Well, i got the paint down, here it is blocked back with 3000 , 6000 , 12000 wet/dry, ready for BMF, This has not been polished yet.
  5. Thanks guys, it's slowly moving on. Michael, if you look at the interior pic, there is a Diff housing in the background, that is the color i will be doing the body in. It is a burnt reddish bronze , if that makes sense, it changes shades depending on the light.
  6. That's an AWESOME improvement, love it !!!
  7. That's a great turn around, beautiful save ..
  8. INSANITY John, but looking goo mate. I feel the Carbs don't look big enough now, even though your using 4 of them..
  9. Sure will mate, its polishing out very nicely. Well, i got the interior done, tried a few things differently, like doing all the stitching with thread, and suede inserts as well.. Some BMF thrown in there as well.
  10. That carb set-up looks sweet.
  11. Thanks, i like the look of them, and i am going a burnt redish gold.......bit hard to describe the color really, stay tuned, i got some paint down today..so wont be long..
  12. GO FOR IT!! You have a vision, and want to do it, just do it. It's not as if it is an original condition collector body, even if it was, i would still not hesitate to do it if that;s what i wanted.
  13. Got the fender flares done, the wheels fit perfectly now.
  14. That's some seriously nice beam work mate, you must be a builder of the real thing i reckon..
  15. Cheers Richard, i have mini tubed it, and they still stick out. As usual, i want something different, and my 1:1 has this style of flare, so i suppose i just want to try something , to see if i can mate. Thanks for the input. Left one stock, right one has been raised and moved inboard, i don't want full tubs on this one.
  16. Some deep dish old school wheels would really make it work i reckon.
  17. I like some of these ideas.. , that 59 looks sweet. Might have to try that.
  18. Working on the Revell 68 "special edition" Hemi Dart, and trying to fit the Aoshima BBS wheels under it. As you can see, NOT A CHANCE!! So, with a little help from a donor WRC Corolla, it's gonna work.. I hope..
  19. That is some seriously sweet detail work mate, very nicely done..
  20. Nicely done !!
  21. Very nicely done, great rendition of the real thing.
  22. I just picked up this same kit a few weeks ago, it looked cool on the box. After seeing it done, i am now looking forward to building it, great job man..
  23. Nicely done, i like the color choice on it too.
  24. That is one gorgeous color, and well painted too, a sweet build.

Thanks guys. Dann, the only issue was the dash, it does not even come close to fitting, it seems to be the totally wrong one, but i got it to work eventually..
