That's i sweet quickie build mate, i like it very much.

After the first bad experience, i would have binned it, and found something else, as bad paint is one of the worst things to try and fix.

I do many multi color paint jobs with out any bleed through, i always run my thumb nail across the tape edge, just to make sure it has stuck as best as possible. Just go for it mate, nothing like practice, it's only paint, if you stuff it up, rub it back and go again. But i agree with the others, GOOD quality tape, and low tack if you can get it.

And they are a beautiful car to look at, and ride in, a performance look to them, but with ALL the luxuries available at the time, good luck finding one in Australia even, they are a very rare commodity now days.

A little bit of progress, i used the vents from the door of a Ferrari F40, to make air intakes in the roof to feed the engine. Also made a partition with a window to separate the driver from the engine. So, still plugging away between other builds.

That stance and color works for me...!!
