    37 Ford Coupe

Yet another superb build there Ray, love it mate.
  6. Would hope it was a wrap, or a very poor paint job with all that orange peel in it, .....have seen another one done in black with all the stripes in orange.
  7. Been working on this one for about a week, just a nice basic build with a bit of wiring, paint is Auto Acrylic, a color i call "sunburnt bronze". I have opened the trunk, made a fuel cell to sit between the tubs, interior is a satin tan Acrylic . Wheels are from a pro street kit, with fat street tyres from i don't know what.

    Silver Willys

What a great looking Willy's, the silver works perfectly with the decals, where as most colors clash with some part of the decal.
  9. Sweet Gasser mate.
  10. That is just drop dead GORGEOUS Luke, another superb build mate.
  11. Great bit of detail work there mate, I have this same kit on the bench at the moment, and I like it.
  12. Very nicely built, and SWEET color and shine.
  13. What a superb idea, turned out just great, i love the pic of the chassis with out the body on it.
  14. Very nicely done mate, i like this style.
  15. I did the California Roller a couple of years ago for a cannonball build, with a F1 Cosworth V8 and transaxle, plenty of room for a good driveline mate.
  16. Just take your time mate, but don't think too hard, thats when sh1! happens, go with gut feeling i always find is the best, the hard bit is done, the masking!
  17. Very nice tape work mate, look forward to seeing you results.
  18. If it is something that really looks good on the box, i will cut the top part out and keep it, ( why, i have no idea yet), but the rest go straight in the bin, as i have heaps of parts box's and trays etc for all the spare parts.
  19. I have built model cars for 35 years, i like the challenge of building a kit like nobody else has built it, the box always goes in the bin, coz its just a box, with someone else s suggestion on it. I am also a 1:1 car guy, I also love to paint, but it is way to expensive to respray my 1:1 every couple of years. so it gives me even more ideas of what i can do on the real stuff. AND I LOVE IT!!!
  20. That is just SUPERB!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Being a single guy, i have a lot better things to do than dust, so this is the perfect solution, and you can pick them up very cheep at garage sales, they usually leak or have a crack somewhere. Probably should have dusted around the tanks before the pics were taken, but i am renovating at the moment, so it will be back tomorrow.
  22. That is a might fine effort on that weathering mate.
  23. Nicely built, LOVE the color and interior mate.
  24. I buy old fish tanks, and make some shelves inside them, 6-10 model out of the dust for ever. And i recycled an old magazine rack a friend wanted to get rid of the other day, managed to house 200 hot wheels cars in it. With a plastic sheet velcro'd down the front, they are out of the dust too.
