  1. I started with a resin Coe cab... and that was it !! Found a chassis from a GMC , which was modified and Z'ed. Made an interior, and slotted a 426 Hemi in there too, can't see the point in building a model with out an engine. The tray, i started with a pair of 32 rear fenders, ..... and scratch built EVERYTHING else. Wheels are from the S'cool bus kit, which were widened, and some pro street tyres added. THE BOAT, started as an F1 style outboard, but no outboard is going to work in my imagination, so out with the outboard, and in with the inboard. It started as one of the engines from the S'cool bus kit, and made everything above the block, including the scoop. Turbo's were made from some hydraulic olives and solder, and imagination... The whole package was covered in Candy Green and cream, with some red pin stripes on the boat. There was a LOT of scratch building , and bits from the spares box on this one . Hope you like this as much as i enjoyed stretching the imagination..
  2. I lost my spring 10 years ago, so i used one out of a clickable pen, did the job just perfectly.. It only needs to return the paint lever.
  3. Don't believe everything you read over there mate, there were 53 cars listed, 1 was withdrawn today after a crash, so 52 SHOULD start, but there were 2 who did not make the track today. This is a cool race, but will have a lot of safety cars as usual due to the nature of the track, and so many "owners" driving. It is one difficult track even for professional drivers. BUT, well worth a look, i know i will be watching the whole 12 hours..
  4. SERIOUS body kit mate, and love that color. Another great build mate..

  6. Not very often we see a personally hand stitched build mate.... very nicely done !
  7. Don't take this the wrong way, but you need to work on your painting , it sounds like you need to thin your paint a bit, and you wont get that much orange peel. And clear cote it, then polish it.
  8. MASTER CRAFTSMANSHIP Shaun, it has been a while, but perfection takes time mate, Brilliant work sir...
