  1. Thanks guys. I'm hopin to get a couple more done next year. I want to build the ZL1 69 and finish my Impalas next year. I'd like to finish the Nomad I started for this Cannonball entry too. But I'm not holding my breath on that one.
  2. Don't forget Mamet's "ween". I wasn't that impressed with the Don Henley interview, but his performances sounded great. I really liked the mellow Boys of Summer. The Madonna was all new info to me. I knew nothing of her besides the Virgin video and pointy bra. I'm glad he's leavin Benji in the corner and not interacting with his issues. Me personally, I can't stand Alisa. Her voice is just as annoying as Mary Anne. I will say this, I miss Eric the Midget.
  3. Hhmmmm. That's a good question. I'd have agree, her interviews are great, really changed my opinion of her. But one that got my attention was Cia. But she's kinda the same deal as Gaga. And Madonna. Kinda funny all three are or were out there. One person I can't stand, everytime she comes on is Tan mom. It's like nails on a chalkboard everytime I hear her.
  4. Oh boy. I know I need to get busy building. This is lookin good Sean.
  5. Thanks John and Tom.
  6. Knights trucks are fleet spec'd. Basic, almost bare bones. A member on here recently started driving for them. He actually got through my town here a month or so back. It was cool to meet a member and shake his hand.
  7. That isn't airbrush. They actually cut the hood.
  8. Great bunch of Chevies you got built. Well done man.
  9. Thanks guys. This is a much better place than Facebook. I'm glad to be part of this great forum. Anybody I've helped out over my short time here, your welcome. A big thank you to all that have helped me over this time. Thank you all that have looked, commented, and like my builds. I really do appreciate the feedback and comments.
  10. Thanks man. I like how it came out.
  11. It did start as a Dodge, but a 4 door! The guy he bought it from had welded the doors then filled in the windows.
  12. Here's the car next to it in the pic.
  13. That's what made me look harder to see if it was a 359 or 379.
  14. I'm using my phone, so tend to forget things. I hope he makes an announcement this week. Too bad it won't be as good as the last time he made the announcment. I'm pretty sure Sal and everybody will be on time the rest of the year.
  15. I found a better pic of it. It is a 379 std. They just made the wipers stop in the up position.
  16. Me too. I'd like to know what the life time offers are. I really think he'll resign. I can't imagine him letting a 30 some year career end like a normal show. With Robin ending the news with, "and that's what's happening", them Howard doin a live spot. I'd like to see him do a big goodbye bash, like his last birthday bash. That's how I'd like to see him go out, in 5 more years.
  17. Actually. I'm not sure that's a 359 or a 379 standard with 359 wipers. I'm thinkin the later.
  18. I kinda like their build of this 359.
  19. I'd give it shot. I also see John Teresi's next project.
  20. Yes and no. He still has the raunchy bits like he always did, just more raunchy now without censors. But his interviews are something else. Nowhere else can a celebrity, politician, author, or whoever, go and sit down and talk for an hour or 2. There have been many that have sat on his couch that I either didn't care for, or didn't know at all. After listening to them, you have a whole new perspective on the individual. I really liked the Bradley Cooper interview promoting American Sniper, or when Bill Murray was in promoting St. Vincent, or Metta lice performing live in the studio, or Dave Grohls many appearances, I can go on and on. I'd like to see him continue on, just for the interviews and the occasion bit or phony phone calls. Being a truck driver, I don't know what I'd do without my satellite. I've had it for 10 years, I can't imagine going back to terestial radio.
  21. I thought we could get a discussion going about his contract situation. He's only got 6 shows left on his current contract. What are your thoughts. Will he resign or ride off into retirement? Since he said he would only do one or the other, the radio show or America's Got Talent, now we know he's not comin back for a 5th season of AGT. Will he resign? I hope so. I like the show, it's very funny. His interviews are like no other out there.
  22. Thanks Carl. I really enjoyed building these, especially the Nova. Everything seemed to go right. Maybe because I didn't think. It was the 4th of July 3 day build car. I had no time TO think.
