Thanks guys. I really do appreciated the comments. I'm at a point with this where I can't work on it at the Hotel anymore. It's time to start the paint and I don't want to have paint, brushes, and whatever else bouncing around in the truck. I'm hopin this only needs a few more days and it'll be done. It's been a few months since I've finished anything.

NASA Pete 1/25

Very nice work. That suspension is spot on. So much so, it makes my back hurt with memories of how rough that suspension is. Great work man, the detail is outstanding. -
Thanks man. I'm not a Ford guy, but, I enjoy building and customizing models. The front suspension off the Mustang is freakishly close fitting the truck frame. The Revell locating pins are only about .06 off the Moebius. So I'll be using the Mustang setup and making a set of upper A-arms. The rear will have to be sectioned to get it low enough. The engine will fit perfect. Enough clearance to the hood, I'll just have to make some inner wells. Once the rest of the engine is on I'll make those. Here are a couple pics of the motor fitment.

I figured since my Raptor build is far enough along I can finish at home, just paint and minor stuff left on it, I'd go ahead and start another Hotel build. I'm gonna do a kitbash, custom 69 F100. I'm gonna do some scratch stuff for the front and rear suspension, use the motor/trans, wheels and some other things from a Revell Boss 302 Mustang. I want this truck sittin on the ground, level and smooth. The emblems and door handles will be removed. Here's the start pic of the kit boxes.

Doubtful. But, thats the only way I'd buy this. I'm not a fan of the early Aerodyne cabs. -

Saw this on my way home today. -
Lookin damned good man. I'm hopin to get my Raptor chase done, get started on the other chase, then either the TT or transporter. Your really inspiring me to get my stuff done. You've got some nice goin on. Can't wait to see how you tackle the suspensions, mainly the shocks and coil overs. I'm rackin my head on those.

Quick update on my build. No progress, but, I do plan on doing some work on it tomorrow. I'm gonna try to get the interior figured out, and get the engine assembled. For next year; 1. Supercar/concept- always wanted to do a Lambo or Ferrari 2. Box stock 3. 60s -
I've thought about it. But something about complaining about Ca and doing absolutely nothing about it, seems comforting.

Leggo My Charger

Very creative. He has a lot of time on his hands. Wish I was able to do something like this. -
Small update for this build. Since my order of tires for my Trophy Truck project t have come in, I can start mounting those on this. I'm gonna build the support vehicles first, 2 chase trucks and a transporter. I've got the cradles started, where the TT tires are gonna sit. All the spares are gonna be strapped down. I need to figure out some sort of ratchet looking deal and some "strap". I'm gonna do a little more on the tire mounts and get the fuel cans mounted as well.
