  1. Right on!
  2. Thanks Glenn, it will, I needed to make sure they will fit. Their slightly taller than the radials. Thank you Eric, I'm still working out the lines. But the skirt follows the front fender radius pretty closely. I still need to rework that area.
  3. Thanks guys, more to come....
  4. I had to wedge section the interior tub so the frame would fit level under the body. I scribe'd both sides and the rear, pushed it up some and sanded the edges until it fit better. And I couldn't resist another mock up shot. Also I tried a couple of B pillar designs, but this one looked the best to me.
  5. Looking nice, maybe shorter wheel/tires up front!
  6. Dave B. and I will be there, just putting the finishing touches on a few builds to bring!
  7. Very nice Carl, and tan/white in the inside would e perfect.
  8. Thanks Bill, I think I'll try a few paper patterns and see what looks good.
  9. First mock-up...
  10. Looks real good, nice fabrication!
  11. Thanks guys, here it is before shaping, grinding and sanding. My plan to bend the "B" pillars was a good idea, the execution could have been better, but it will sand out fine. I also reinforced the inside of each joint with micro brass screen and CA glue. More mods to follow....
  12. I have seen alot, alot more damage done by deer.
  13. All in due time, Grasshopper, all in due time. Thanks for the interest also....
  14. Amaaaaaaazing stufffff...
  15. The beginnings of the chop...
  16. Starting with the AMT 2Door Custom kit, It will get a pie section first, then the roof. I used a razor saw to scribe the cut then the back side of a #11 blade, scoring little by little until the cut went through. I'll save the pie to use as filler on the roof chop. I then welded the body back together with liquid cement. After this is set I'll chop that top....
  17. Splendid!
  18. Picked these up at a swap/show Saturday. Just about 130 pairs of all kinds of skirts, some are labeled, others I have no ideal.
  19. I shop Napa because of Napa. Not because of who they sponsor. I really don't care for the 48 team, but still shop at Lowe's. As far as cheat'n goes, a Cup employee once told me, "They all cheat! Some are just better than others."
  20. Well done! Great detailing, including the rubber fender strips. It's a good looking model.

    NOVA GS

Tom, Greg, thanks for the interest. I have always liked the Nova's, but as you both stated, they can be very bland and average at best. That's why I tried something different with this one. You could even get more creative and do the body mods found on the GS Corvette.
  22. Great looking truck Carl!
  23. Looks good Pat, great job. I tried to post the song, maybe some else could do it.
