Thanks guys. The paint is Inca Gold and several coats of clear. I made half barrel hinges using the molded in door hinges, took alot of careful cutting! The rear wheels are from one of the dragster kits, I think. Again, thanks for the interest.

    How's that!

I think the problem are the OG brake drums. It would be easy to put the first wheels back on without the drums!
  4. I built this a couple years ago but was never really satisfied with the front wheels. Sooooooooooo... I found these in the parts box today. Better? Link to more pictures, http://s176.photobucket.com/user/fredjames_2007/library/32%20Nugget?sort=3&page=1
  5. I have seen the little Olds before, pretty neat car. It's been cold and rainy today so I managed to get a few details sorted out...
  6. Looks amazing Doc, but it's pretty bad when the shiniest part of you vehicle is the engine!
  7. Thank you all.
  8. I've been doing a little paint and assembly on this one. The engine is from the AMT Catalina with a blower from the Tony Nancy kit with Alclad Magnesium and a touch of pale exhaust, it will have the long scoop eventually. Exhaust manifolds are from a MT Challanger. The interior is coming along also. Still have quite a few things to add but it is getting there. Thanks for looking.
  9. Well done Paul. Looks good. Are those the new Pegasus wheels?
  10. Thank you all for your comments.

  12. Stunning and Stunning! Well done John, well done.
  13. Great imagination Doc! I like it and thanks for the shot from behind so we can see how you closed in the cab. Those (cap) fenders look good also. Are ya gonna add a big old brush bar up front?

  15. BUMP I was digging through my spare parts, looking for pieces for a build of something like this...
  16. Well done, clean build and a great color too!
  17. But isn't that what scratch building is all about! Hang in there and keep on fabbing.
  18. Thank you for the interest and comments.
  19. These look good, would like to see more of them.

Definition: A mischievous or playful trick, I built and sold this one some time ago. I wanted an older un-polished look but still look like a proper Hot Rod. Mostly dry brushing, powders and water color. The engine is PB pieces with the intake from a Woody's kit. Also tried to make some welds. I think there is a company that has resin welds, they look better. I should have put some BMF behind the tail lights. The roof cover is tissue and white glue, then colored. I may have to do another rusty soon...
  23. Looks real good Carl, you must keep it packed away to still be that clean.
  24. Another shiny beauty Carl, well done.
