  4. I had seen this truck when he started it, hadn't seen it finished. One ton GMC towtruck chassis + a scrapped Peterbilt cab which he sectioned, channeled, etc .

  8. The engine is done. Now, I am trying to make all this fit together.
  9. The color photo was taken in my hometown. The hobbies were in the back of the stationery store which was on the right hand side of the white building. Long gone. The black & white photo shows one in Ottawa that I frequented for years. Also long gone.

  11. Added the gold "anodizing" to the trim and clearcoated the body. Assembled the interior. Began wiring of the engine.

  15. I decided to apply the foil before the clear. Some work on the interior panels and the engine.

  18. Greg, you have made a wise purchase. I also have two on my bench (2in. and 4 in.) and I use them all the time. The pads on the other bench are 6", one set is clip on, the other magnetic. I'm sure they make them in different sizes. You may have to fabricate the smallest one though. I personally don't use them in my little vise but maybe I should.
