  1. 1941 Plymouth 6. It'll be part of the next trio on the display stand in my dio.
  2. Thanks guys. It was more involved than I anticipated but I am satisfied with the end result.
  3. One learns something everyday here. thanks for sharing guys.
  4. Now there was a guy with class. RIP Gordie.
  5. Is this one unusual enough? Or you could use a Lincoln V12.
  6. Same here. I would prefer a Fleetside but I had bought it for the cab.
  7. As usual, I manage to Boo-Boo something. In this case the shutlines. Tried to clean them up to no avail. Ah well..... Hope you like it anyway.
  8. There it is, warts and all. I'll take the "Under Glass" shots later today, AFTER the honey-do stuff. Since it was painted out of the same can as the GMC B700 , I am considering giving it the same door decal, making it part of the fleet. We'll see.
  9. Here's the corrected box height.
  10. Added a few more things, glass, windshield washer jug, painted the metal strips in the box, shock absorbers and fixed the "lay of the box".
  11. It may wind up being a tad higher than anticipated as I had to rise the rear to correct a "hind down" appearance. But it shouldn't end up looking like a monster truck.
  12. Started painting details on the dash, hood, etc. Found some shock absorbers. the singles are from the bin, the doubles from a NASCAR racer. Tried my hand at woodgraining. Rather pukey if you ask me.
  13. I don't think I'd be sitting on the wall to watch. I'd be up on the ridge.
  14. Carl, it is 1:25. I got it on eBay or Amazon, one of them.
  15. Chassis coming along. Close up photography is the best way of seeing where you missed.
  16. I think they call them round headed pins. I got them at Michaels.
  17. Made up the two driveshafts. Tweaked the transfer case to gain cab floor clearance.
  18. I don't know about magic Marc, it is more involved than I anticipated. On second thought, magic may well be required.
  19. I buy shifters by the bagful at Michaels. Here's one application (the long one).
  20. Since the front differential in on a different plane than the transfer case, it will require an inclined driveshaft. Separated the yokes to achieve the "bend". Meanwhile found two other places of interference, thwo of the cross members will interfere with the front driveshaft and the bottom of the cab interferes with the top of the transfer case.
  21. Now there's an idea.
  22. I have to paint some resin tires. What is best? FlatSemi GlossFlat with pearl clearShoe ShineAny other suggestions?
  23. Tread width has been finalized. Had to play with the front differential offset to get it to sit within the springs. Installed the axles. Ride height will be OK. The front of the cab will go down when I open up the frame slots to clear the extra width of the spring support plates. Had to file notches in the motor mounts to clear the exhaust manifolds. Next step is to line up the transfer case.
