My most successful use of Alclad yet
landman replied to landman's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Thanks Rob. I had tried Wheels & Wings and the Hobby House. If those two don't have it , it doesn't look good. But I never thought of checking Great Hobbies. -

It didn't cause the flash. I thought I had it all but the shine sure brings it out doesn't it? -

We can't seem to be able to get Spaz-Stix in Canada. None of the major hobby stores sell it, at least not the ones I deal with. I wonder whether we can import it. I know we can't import the OEM model paints. -
The current trio on display Will be replaced by a trio of Ford SOHC 427's. I got three in various levels of completeness in a large engine junk pile I bought on eBay. I scrounged around the other engines and with a little scratchbuilding (coils, oil filter) and one pair of resin valve covers I can make three.

I got one for Christmas too. I wonder what year it might have been? 1963? -

Since I took the time to move the dios to a better lighted spot to take photos of these latest items I thought why not take photos of the whole thing, both rooms. starting with the restoration shop, imagine starting at the left wall and moving clockwise to the right wall. 1.Front part of the left wall 2. Back part of left wall, where it meets the back wall. 3.Left center portion of shop. 4. Right center portion of shop. 5.Right end of back wall where the three engine display is. This display will change regularly. 6. Front right wall

The newest model year in your stash

Top five in order, I think, going backwards: Audi R8, Dodge dually pickup, Lambo Diablo, GNX, Porsche 911 Turbo, then other than two or three 1970 they're all old. -
Thank you.

I'm looking for an Ardun Ford V8. Do all '50 Ford pickup kits have it or just certain issues? I found a set of resin Ardun heads but they are $14.

Well done sir. -
I do woodworking, snowshoeing and cycling. I along with another codger look after the snowshoe trail network . We cut deadfalls, clear brush, tramp the trails etc. I've had old cars since about 1981. Currently own a 67 mustang GTA convertible and a 1934 Chevrolet 5 window coupe, both of which have a thread here.

That will be a beauty. I can only imagine its size in the real world.
