  1. With a few touch ups, the interior will be ready to install....eventually. This one is a question. Do you guys think this hinge ( I think from a pickup door) is good enough for this hood or should I try and make one of those bent wire ones?
  2. I hadn't seen that Great detail!
  3. Worked on the interior tonight trying to ignore the water seeping insidiously into the house. These kits have no side & back panels. I wonder if Dan made some for his. I got some junkyard pickups coming, maybe I can cobble something from that.
  4. Nice busy shop. Like a good dio, it tells a story.
  5. Love it.
  6. The one on the left looks a bit like a Mosrite.
  7. While attaching the hoses I managed to break the very flimsy resi valve stems. Made new ones out of brass tubing and completed the set. In place near the welding bench.
  8. All of the above. Unreal....or maybe so real.
  9. Likewise. I have two old cars to get ready for the cruising season. Don't want to be under the car or into the engine compartment when I could be driving. Evenings will be on the deck. I may still go down into the dungeon early in the morning though.
  10. Angel, I happen to have both. Here's the partially built KFS I was going to use on my Dodge L700. After we decided it was too big for this application I purchased an Italeri, which I ended up using.
  11. Yes Carl I have made a display stand in one corner of the room which will hold three at a time. You can check the thread, the current ones are a Hudson Twin H, a Z28 Cross Ram and a Testarossa along the "Flatheads to Boxers theme". The Avanti engines I got recently are to recreate the R series R2, R3, R4 & R5. I am currently outfitting one room as a restoration shop while the other one will continue on as the engine shop.
  12. Another Avanti engine, the interior for the '57 Ranch Wagon body I got the other day and a body and interior of a '41 Ford woody.
  13. The wheels for the card will come from plastic curtain slides. Painted the torch and added to the cart.
  14. Over the top! Well, we need someone with skills and abilities that far above everyone else's. It gives us something to aim for.
  15. Don't hurt yourself Rick. Although I am glad you enjoy it. It started out as a background for photos, (which it still is) but it seems to have taken on a life of its own. The car in my garage is a 1934 Chevrolet Master 5 window coupe. It had been my dad's during the mid to late forties.I am trying to replicate it in this thread:http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/89965-1934-chevrolet-master-5-window-coupe/
  16. We have a torch. And a couple of shots in the engine shop.
  17. Added some of the goodies to the end wall and the other side of the "Teardown & repair bay". Have to make some torches for the gas welding set and a cart.
  18. X2.
  19. Worked at finishing a bunch of stuff I got from SBMC. Added some to my orange crate plywood bench.
  20. So realistic, the oily grime, fifth wheel grease, the new wheel.....and a thousand other details. How many did it take to get to that level of expertise?
  21. An Avanti, a '57 Ford wagon body, a Stude engine and a Lambo engine. I also got the molds for the GMC Astro 95 turbine engine. -I should have enough Stude engines to be able to build the R3,R4 & R5 trio for my display stand in the FTB dio. -The wagon body will grace my '57 which needs a redo.
  22. The shop redo is far enough along to be able to see the bench again. Finished erasing the head & parking lights. Made up a windshield. that is the part I like the least about those resin cabs, making the windshield.Although It only took two tries this time.
